As much as I love Twin Peaks (and I really do) a big part of season 2 has always rubbed me the wrong way

It's hard to explain kind of but I feel like in season 2 when Laura's killer is finally unmasked, there's never really a sense of the townspeople reacting the way people normally would. I mean we find out that Laura was actually killed by her own father (albeit under the influence of a demon) and everyone just kind of shrugs it off and goes about their lives. Considering the impact that her murder had on the town, I wish they had given a sense of the revelation having an impact as well. Anyone else agree?

Charles Burnside from Black House has got to be the most repulsive King character ever right?

I can't really think of another one who comes close.

It was nice that Bart just smiled and accepted this but surely Marge could have thought of something to say about him. Maybe just "I like Bart's sense of humor and energy".

Is it good? I've been meaning to get it to it for a while but I haven't until now. I don't hear it get talked about too much, it sounds like a King version of the movie Falling Down.

Do you think she would have been good in the role? Would the movie have wound up a lot different as a result?
