Is it normal to feel more lonely in my 30s?

I 32F have been with my husband 42M since I was 20 years old. I feel like he love bombed me early on and it worked. As the years have gone on I feel like he doesn’t put any effort into our marriage unless I beg. I have to beg for dates, he doesn’t sit close to me on the couch, there’s no affection aside from a peck goodbye on the lips before work. He doesn’t have a problem with any of this. I told him I feel very lonely and he just gets mad and defensive. I feel like I just live in a lala land of unrealistic expectations and I don’t know how to get over it and just accept it. It’s a good marriage in other ways, just lonely in the physical affection department.

Anyone feeling less attractive in their 30s?

In my 20s I felt attractive, and society did a good job of validating that. In my 30s I’ve been dealing with hormonal acne, feeling like my body is sub par despite my active lifestyle, and just feeling like I’m not great at anything. The nice thing about my 30s is I don’t really care anymore like I used to but sometimes I just feel indifferent about my 30s. I miss the ability to be naive like I was in my 20s. I don’t know what I need.

Both kids will be in school now

Both of my kids will be in school this year. I work shift work every weekend so I can stay home during the week with my kids. We don’t have help so my husband and I navigate this together. He works during the week and I work weekends. I’m not sure what to do with the time that I’ll have now during the week while the kids are in school. I feel guilty for this time because my husband doesn’t get that. I could get a part time job just for some extra cash, I could just enjoy it but guilt may prevent that. What does one do while kids are in school?

My mom refuses help so I distanced myself

My mom is mentally ill but refuses help. She has been inpatient but still will not acknowledge her issues. She is angry at her family now and runs away with no communication and shows back up randomly. I can’t take it. She ignores my text messages and her phone is usually off. I’m getting tired of trying. How do you guys do it? I have so much guilt not knowing how she’s going but for the last five years she has been bad. It hasn’t always been this way and I think I’m holding onto the past too much.

32 and why does my skin does better with less?!

I use cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, Cerave moisturizer, and Colorescience mineral spf. Anytime any acid, or even a vitamin c derivative I get super red. I want to take better care of my skin but my acne and redness is controlled when I use basic things, is that a bad thing long term?
