My office is small and it’s divided into work and pleasure; I work from home (remotely). I got this HEMNES IKEA bookcase and I love it so much.
It’s organized as:
Domestic Fiction
Literature from and about Puerto Rico
Dystopias, Fairy Tales, and Sci-Fi
Non-Fiction
Historical Fiction, Fiction, and Poetry
Fantasy
Contemporary Fiction and Feminist Theory (in basket)
I would love to expand my Feminist Theory collection, so any recommendations are welcomed.
It’s a small collection. I have about 160 books (not all are pictured). Regardless of its size, it’s my cozy piece of heaven.
It’s the first time I’ve seen Bowie sleep. He’s been here for two in a half months but he was in a room until he got all his vaccines and to do slow intros with my resident cat.
He’s been out and about for a few days now and I’ve finally caught him napping (besides me no less!).
I’m having the best feeling in the world.
Yes, I’ve said this before. I have found the perfect notebook for other purposes, but for everyday? To take everywhere? This is the one. The perfect size, hardcover, with square grid, numbered pages, and fountain pen friendly. Meet my A6 Leuchtturm1917.
I avoided the brand due to the price. At the beginning of the year I got the official bullet journal and I loved it. The downside? The size. The A5 is just not great to carry around everywhere for me, but I loved the paper quality.
Before this I used Midori MD A6 graph grid. I love how they have markings for columns and rows. The downside? It’s not hardcover. I got a cover off Etsy that’s perfect but I still found it slightly too big.
Then came this notebook. It’s perfect for every day. I’ll still use my Midori MD’s, my travel notebook, and other notebooks I have started. Moving forward though, this pocket notebook is going to be my go to.
Do you have recommendations for another hardcover, square grid, numbered pages, fountain pen friendly A6 (this A6 size not Midori A6 size)?
Edits: typos and sentence structure.
This is Bowie. He is 3 months old. He posed for a lot of pics and then….well the second picture speaks for itself. I think you all know what happened next.
I know he’s just a kitten but wow he has so much energy. He’s in a biting phase that’s really frustrating. On Thursday he is going to be free with his resident 6 year old sister since the vet gave us the okay because he finished all his vaccines last Thursday. I think he will get smacked a lot by Lilah 😅
