saw this lighter spot on my boys tail, not sure if it’s stuck shed or the beginning of tail rot

i’ve attached some photos. this is after i gave him a mist bath so that’s why he’s wet. i’m really at a loss. he’s around 14 months old and he barbers a lot and i noticed two really big wing feathers seeming like they got chewed off. the other photos are where i see like a tiny little bald patch, not sure if that’s normal or not but it’s freaking me out. he doesn’t seem to pluck, he just seems to over preen and chew. he mainly barbers his wing feathers and back feathers.
he doesn’t like to be pet so that’s why he’s biting me but it’s never a harsh bite ever, he never does it aggressively. i had to take the photos though.
i’ve gone to the vet and got him blood work, an x-ray and just a general physical exam and nothing is out of the ordinary.
at home he has a lot of toys and a lot of foraging opportunities. i feed him fresh chop everyday and give him a little bit of roudybush pellets overnight in case he gets hungry. as infrequent treats i give almonds, cashews, walnuts or pistachios but it’s always in moderation. i heard safflower seeds could be better so i bought some and they’re on the way.
he eats well, he plays well, he’s happy, he gets a normal day and night cycle, i spend most of the day with him and sometimes my dad or friends come in to see him so he gets more social interaction and he really loves my dad and my friends. no non stick anything, no harsh cleaning chemicals, no candles, no hair tools, nothing like that. i give him really intense mist baths every other day or so, he doesn’t like the shower but if that may be a reason then i’ll have to get him used to it. humidity is good and so is the room temperature. never really any random loud noises in the house, no particular reason why he may be stressed.
i really don’t know what to do, the vets say to just give him foraging opportunities and make sure he gets wet like a shower or mist but i do that already and im not sure where else to go or what else to do. im so freaked out.

i really wish i could post a video but the past few nights i’ve seen frogs on my window, just one at a time but tonight there’s all three of them!!! this makes me so happy so cool

excuse the dried greens lol i need to clean that up a bit. so i noticed the other day that my adult male (about 7 yrs old) uromastyx’ tail looks a lot thinner than it did even just less than a month ago.. the first two photos were from late june (mid poop) and the last three are from a few days ago, not the best pictures but it’s what i was able to get. he seems to have lost a bit of weight overall, is that good, like was he just chubby before? it seems like he’s eating like normal but his tail base seems like it’s lost a lot of fat/shape. should i be concerned about this? if yes, what do you guys suggest i do?
edit: forgot to add that he’s acting the same as usual, temps around 130f on basking side and around 80-90f on cool side, relatively new arcadia 12% t5 ho

so i just got this outdoor aviary/cage for my eclectus, squawk. fyi, i will never leave him unattended in there. its not a new home for him for the summer, its just for us to hangout in there when the weather is warm. it’s not a huge space so i need to think smartly here

so! i want it to be comfortable for me to chill out in, as well as fun for my birdy. i got this playstand for free the other week, a bit rusty but im gonna clean it and use rustoleum and all that, tips for that as well? also not sure how weather proof it would be.

we will be putting a cover/tarp over the top.

i’ve always wanted one of those huge tree/branch perches for him (last picture) but they’re incredibly expensive, so possibly i want to diy? but it’s gonna be hard work to make it safe.

i want some lights, like fairy lights or something but don’t want birdy to be able to chew on them.

im also worried about mosquitoes and such because i know i can’t use bug spray. ive seen these big outdoor fly zappers, do you think that could work if i put a few outside the cage?

im not really able to do concrete, so my plan is to dig a level pit, use steel wire mesh or something for a layer, then use stone or concrete pavers.

just looking for tips or ideas for me and my bird to make it chill but fun and safe!!

heavy misting shower today, he loves it. spreads his wings for the full misting. yes i know i need to wipe the food off of his perch. this is also just his food perch, he has many others with more texture and gripping abilities.

BUT HE’S SUCH A PRETTY BOY!!!
