Google May 2026 bootloader update prevents rolling back

Google May 2026 bootloader update prevents rolling back

FYI from Google's factory images website (https://developers.google.com/android/images):

"Warning: The May 2026 update for Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL and 10 Pro Fold devices contains a bootloader update that increments the anti-roll back version for the bootloader. This prevents the device from rolling back to previous vulnerable versions of the bootloader. After flashing the May 2026 update on these devices you won't be able to flash and boot older Android 16 build."

Vivo X300 Pro - "Optimizing based on habits" setting enabled, caused phone to charge extremely slow and overheat with car chargers

After owning the global Vivo X300 Pro (V2514, latest April 2026 update, PD2502EF_EX_A_16.0.21.0.W20) for a few weeks now, I was baffled at how extremely slow it charged when connected to my Baseus 65W car charger, using a 5A usb-c cable. While the Fast charging icon showed up, Ampere showed that the phone charging speed never exceeded 1200 mA. Not only that, the phone would overheat while charging up to 46 degrees Celsius. FYI "Bypass charging" was disabled. I tried a different 65W charger and 5A cable, but nothing changed. Today I disabled the
"Optimizing based on habits" setting and immediately the phone started charging at 4.15V and 6000+ mA, as it should be, with temperatures not exceeding 35 degrees Celsius. I can finally charge my phone in my car.

Vivo X300 Pro Global - AI Reflection Erase missing

I've noticed that "AI Reflection Erase" is missing (never really had it) from my Vivo X300 Pro Global (Model V2514, on latest April software update). When I open an image in the "Albums" application (version V10.0.10.42), under "AI Erase" the only options available are:

"Smart Circle", "Manual Smudge" and "Remove People".

See attached images. Not sure if it helps, but I am also logged into my Vivo account on my phone. Any ideas on how to get it back?
