Is there any appetite in either government or opposition? What happened?

Why is it hard to find a seafood place here around water (river or lake etc..)

What would the world look like if diplomatically and culturally ERM viewed itself more pragmatically? Would a long alliance ever have been possible? For example, they constantly insulted bulgars and viewed them with disdain and as barbarians, same for some of the empires of the east and with Germanic tribes to the west. I know Latins were also like this.. asking out curiosity

I believe such an event with serious preparations can heal the great schism and push Europe to new hights of acceptance and integration, Imagine if most of Orthodox countries sign a petition for unity and the Pope shows he is ready to give up papal supremacy. The schism is mostly a result of geopolitical pressures and less so of serious theological differences. We can create a new age of the roman empire with all the issues healed with English as the new Latin. Do you think the Pope would give up the papal supremacy in our lifetimes?

I didn't want to imply the language in liturgical terms which obviously is not a source of issues AFAIK, it was meant to be as a source of common language and understanding between the two worlds which was a problem in the past

Was rear ended while waiting a red light last night, some damage on the car but had made my pre existing neck pain (spine) worse due to the whiplash and having trouble sleeping. What do I need to do next? Got license plate and contact info. They wanted to settle in cash and came out with a comment like : oh seems like theres no damage. My wife was the driver and she's 31 weeks pregnant and we had our LE behind. Due to circumstances.. I am not feeling like cutting them some slack.

After Justinian there was no more busting anyone's balls properly and expansions with aggressive innovation in military tech. Is it related to greek culture and theological interpretations/ideology? Also the late empire despite meritocratic ideas grew worst of both of worlds - an aristocratic caste system and incompetent rulers who are often usurpers.

After the newest patch my game no longer closes properly after match being stuck as if I'm still in game even though the game is over. Anyone else facing this issue? Please help me out on how to fix this as it is really annoying me, I have been stuck in over 5 games now

Been jobless for more than a year working on some science stuff and helping startups. I've seen wealthy people and I've lived in poverty before. I now have an opportunity to earn but it has already taken much of my innocence for this world. I dreamed of being current me in the past but now I know it has costed me the previous life of innocence and believing in the good in people as a presumption. I now assume people are bad or stupid and start building trust from there. Its a sad state of affairs to allow my family to live a good life. I never lied or scammed and never will. But the cost of innovation is innocence.

My mother (ETA passport holder) visited last year, however on the border she was only given 2 out of the 6 months that people normally get likely because she didn't speak English and the kiosks didn't have any language she can understand and had made a mistake to call me when she was declaring what she is carrying (she wasn't carrying anything illegal, just called me at the kiosks which was flagged).. Those 2 months ended in November and we wanted her to stay until at least Christmas. She left the day after Christmas. We submitted an extension request and paid the fee to IRCC, however that is still sitting sitting as processing in their system. The fact that it is sitting as open is concerning to me as she left a long time ago and this ticket might assume she is still in the country (even though I attached a letter of explanation clearly stating when she will leave and she left..). Can you please give me any advice on this situation - so that it doesn't cause us any issues if she decides to visit this autumn/winter? We also had a child last year and will have another one hopefully this year so having her here is really crucial for us. Thank you
