Are there any Discord servers that actually drive wishlists for indie games?

I’ve been looking for Discord communities where indie devs can actually share their games without it just being a wall of self-promo.

I found a few servers with dedicated showcase/promo channels, but I’m curious if anyone here has actually gotten meaningful results from Discord.

Any servers you’d recommend for:

  • sharing a Steam page/trailer
  • getting wishlists or actual player traffic
  • finding horror/indie game communities
  • getting useful feedback

Especially interested in places where people actually check out the games being posted, not just other devs dropping links and leaving.

What’s worked for you?

landlord said the apartment had "character"

been working on The Apartment, where your home gets a little less trustworthy every day, rent is still due though

The TV in my horror game gets less helpful the longer you watch it

been working on The Apartment and the TV somehow became one of my favorite parts of it. apparently giving the player information is more fun when you can't trust it

Your home keeps changing the rules when you're not looking- The Apartment

I wanted to capture that feeling of losing control while everything around you still looks almost normal. Like you know your apartment, you know your routine, day after day, and then.. you realize the rules were never yours. That feeling really gets to me, anyway.
Still working on it. And I'm pretty happy with how this place makes you feel. Hopefully this kind of vibe clicks some of you:)

This hit me with nostalgia instantly. Original Resident Evil 3. Who else grew up with this?
