Anyone have the knowledge and energy to see this one through to the finish line?

This is an early Lord Marvel - I think maybe third generation, 65-66 range, 5740-0010. Replacement crown, runs great. Case a bit beat up but the dial is so clean, it’s still a real beauty. Vintage strap with later gen buckle completes the look. Anyone have a good experience getting a gold filled case refinished? I’m not conserving this watch for a museum, so it’d be nice if it didn’t look as if it got stuck in a garbage disposal and someone accidentally turned it on.

Got this lovely Seiko Goldfeather. It all looks right except the caseback, which i’d expect to have engraving on it. It’s flat/clean except for this bizarre stain. Anyone know what i’m looking at?

Runs beautifully. Just about the largest watch that looks decent on my relatively narrow wrist. Took me a bit to source a band because my lugs are 18.5mm apart. I had TunsLeather make me this custom light brown ostrich strap with Cartier style deployant clasp, and it’s perfect. I found a pic of one of these on a factory strap and it had a similar color. The Citizen period buckles are usually 14mm, but this tapers to 16mm and I think looks great.

Bought this for my dad years ago. He used to wear an accutron for many years until one day while working he just noticed it was gone, band just gave out and he never found it. He never wore this watch, but he appreciated it. It needed some love, at some point the crystal got a crack, and the hands were some boxy white things that didn’t match. But was still pretty with the silver linen dial. So I sent it to Rob B in Thailand. And he did a beautiful job! My 218 rides again!!!
