This fall I have financial accounting with Professor Choi.
This class is a bit outside of my comfort zone, so I’m wondering if anybody has any suggestions for how best to get organized and stay on top of things for this class. Any insights as to how this professor runs the class, priorities/areas of focus etc. for HW/tests/exams? Thx.
Transfer student here. I transferred last year (so will be a Jr. this fall). I spent 70% of my time getting up to speed on academics last year, and I made tons of what you could call "friendly acquaintances" last year (really nice people) - but struggled to find that core group of friends to go out, go to a game, go to a party. I'm a guy that's pretty low key/quiet (which I think is part of the problem - I wasn't as loud and rowdy as many in my dorm last year). I really want to focus on making those connections when I return in the fall.
Any suggestions for clubs that are just really nice people/super fun, or other groups on campus? Ways to generally put myself out there in a low-key way?
A handful of my target schools encourage submission of Glimpse (that brief video submission - “to get to know you better”).
This is stressing me out. What are they asking for? How serious or fun is it supposed to be? I doubt they are asking for me to regurgitate my resume (again)…any suggestions? Is this a natural conversation or planned/scripted out? Thx 🙏
Many colleges that I intend to apply in the fall ask **“Do you intend to apply for need-based financial aid?”**
I may not “need” aid, but if I’ve earned a chance for merit scholarship, I want to take it. Some of the schools I’m hope to apply are $95k+, so every little bit helps.
Hey there, I was wondering how competitive is Notre Dame‘s club soccer team for women?
I am an ECNL player that does not want to compromise my college aspirations, which includes Notre Dame very high up on my list, just for the sake of playing D1 soccer. I have turned down overtures from other D1 colleges (not on my target list of schools), because the schools & the education matter greatly to me. But, unfortunately, I am not quite at the level of a Notre Dame program (Nationally ranked Top 10).
Is women’s club soccer competitive at ND? Is it so competitive that I might not even make the team? Would my mid D1/high D3 skills do the the trick? Is it fun? I really want to keep playing soccer in college (at some level) because I love the sense of being on a team, the tight friendships, staying active & fit, and I really need an outlet for that competitive athlete in me.
Can anyone point me to a list of all the HYPE MUSIC used in the series Welcome to Wrexham (you know, the music the series plays in the background when they are on the pitch during featured game footage)? They are all such banging songs.

Using Shazam or another music identifier rarely works for me because of the overlay of commentary and fan cheers etc.
