recently came across a ring from BlueStone that I absolutely fell in love with. The design is stunning, and it's honestly the best-looking ring I've found after looking at dozens of options. At this point, I'm ready to buy it, but one thing is holding me back.

The making charges alone are about 22% of the gold value, which feels extremely high to me for a ring.

Would it make more sense to give the design and gold to a trusted local jeweler and get the same ring custom-made?
