Persona 5 Royal Is My First Persona Game and I’m Surprised by How Much I’m Enjoying It – What Was Your First Experience Like?

I recently started playing Persona 5 Royal, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I’m not really an anime fan, and I haven’t played many turn based games either, so I thought it might not be for me.

At first, I was worried I’d just be playing as some mysterious, skinny anime kid with cheesy dialogue, which I thought would probably turn me off. But as I kept playing, it started to click. Joker actually feels surprisingly relatable, and seeing him try to help people while figuring out his own path made me get invested in the story and characters.

As someone coming from outside both the anime and turn based RPG genres, I’m genuinely surprised by how much I’m enjoying it so far. I can definitely see why so many people love this series.

I’m curious: what was your first experience with Persona 5 (or any Persona game) like, Were you already into anime and JRPGs, or did you go in as an outsider like me? Was there a moment when the series finally clicked for you etc.?

Also, if you have any advice, things you wish you knew during your first playthrough, or just want to share your experience, I’d love to hear it. Looking forward to learning more about the Persona universe

Recovered the final file from the Super Earth archives while digging through my old PC. Figured I’d share the last piece with my fellow Helldivers.

While digging through some old files, I found this fan art I made of my squad and me back then. Decided it was finally time to deploy it to the Helldivers community.

Posting them in three parts. Hope you all enjoy!

Looking for a PvP or team-based game that actually feels alive. Any recommendations?

I’ve been looking for a multiplayer PvP game on PC that feels alive, gets meaningful updates, has good side modes/events, rewards loyal players, and has a decent community.

I played Rainbow Six Siege for almost 10 years. I had some long breaks here and there, but I genuinely loved the game during its peak. Unfortunately, I feel like Ubisoft’s recent direction, operators, battle passes, and overall content quality have really hurt the experience.

A few years ago, I jumped into Overwatch 2. I missed the original Overwatch era, but I still enjoyed OW2 and played it consistently for about a year. Eventually, the queue times, ranking experience, and constant negativity surrounding the game killed my motivation to keep playing.

Then Marvel Rivals came out, and honestly, it was exactly what I was looking for. Playing iconic Marvel characters in an Overwatch-style game was incredibly fun. The developers seem passionate, the updates are frequent, there are lots of skins, battle passes, and new content, and the community is active. I’ve been playing since Season 1 and still enjoy it.

The problem is that the matchmaking has become really frustrating lately, especially for solo queue players. I still play Marvel Rivals and hope things improve, but it doesn’t hit the same way it did when I first started.

I also tried FragPunk, but the player base didn’t seem strong enough to keep me invested.

So now I’m wondering:
What PvP team-vs-team games on PC would you recommend?

Things I’m looking for:

●	Active player base

●	Developers that actually support and update the game

●	Good matchmaking and solo queue experience

●	Ranked mode and reasons to keep grinding

●	Events, rewards, battle passes, or side game modes

●	A community that isn’t completely miserable

●	Something that feels alive and worth investing time into

For reference, I’ve enjoyed Siege, Overwatch 2, and Marvel Rivals. I’m open to FPS, Third Person, shooters, hero shooters, MOBAs, or anything team-based.

Thanks!
