Sky bang on about their big personalities and determination to win, but the last 2 years haven't shown that. Too often we hear "we thought our total was enough". Spoiler: you never have enough when you are sub 400! Even then 400 can be low. Too often our tailenders slog it and get out for a combined 10 runs.

Also, look how much Mitchell took out of us yesterday. Ground us down. If they stuck in, your tailenders can make meaningful contributions. Or, when they are in with Root, Brook etc. Stay in! Let them play! I don't think it hurts enough to McCollum enough when we lose. When he came in, it helped to relieve the pressure. Now, we need a little pressure.

I was asked to do a simple 5 minute task by my manager, but I over complicated it (through mis understanding). When they came they told me off for being too long (40 mins) and reminded me that what I was doing would bring in less revenue than the time it took me, and moved on.

I was concerned and apologetic as I always am, but didn't respond other than to say sorry and you're right.

Over the past couple of weeks I haven't been that great.

What do I do from here on in? It hasn't been through a lack of effort. Do I apologise or move on?

Calling someone "stupid" or "thick" is really bad. That is the sort of thing that fucks peoples mental health up. If everyone was like Brook and gave us 40 to 50 runs every innings we would be a great side!

I think it would be a great way for them to add to their attack if he comes back interested. Maybe if Carrick is still in charge he can re vitalise him like he did Mainoo?

There are 4 or maybe 5 games left. Play everyone, rest in the summer. We aren't even playing abroad in Europe..
