Capital One Venture X finally unrestricted after 27 days

After 27 days of my Venture X being restricted, Capital One finally removed the restriction today.
The restriction happened basically right after I received the card.

I had made a relatively small purchase (1500) and suddenly the account was restricted. I sent in all the documents they asked for and spent weeks calling, waiting, and doing additional verification.

What’s crazy is that they only finally unrestricted the account after I told them I was ready to close it completely if they couldn’t resolve this. After that, things suddenly moved and the restriction was removed.

The app is now showing my available credit again and everything looks back to normal.
Definitely one of the most frustrating credit card experiences I’ve had, but after 27 days, it’s finally over.

Chase Sapphire Reserve application went to review after pre-approval how long did yours take?

I applied for the Chase Sapphire Reserve today after showing as pre-approved. Instead of getting an instant decision, I received an email saying, “We’ll review your Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card application and be in touch soon.”

For anyone who’s had this happen, how long did it take Chase to give you a decision? Did you end up getting approved, and did you have to call reconsideration or provide any additional verification?

Venture X restricted one day after approval? Anyone else dealt with this?

I was approved for a Capital One Venture X with a $30,000 credit limit, received the card, and literally one day after activating it I tried to make a $1,500 purchase. The transaction was declined, and my account was immediately restricted.
I called Capital One, and they said they needed to verify my identity. I uploaded every document they requested (government ID, etc.) through their website the same day.
It’s now been 2 weeks, and I still haven’t heard anything. Every time I call, I get the same generic response that it’s still under review and they can’t give me a timeline.
Has anyone else had this happen? How long did it take before your account was unrestricted? It’s pretty frustrating to get approved with a $30k limit, receive the card, and then have it locked after the very first purchase attempt.
