I have YouTube Premium because I don’t want to see ads (hello podcasters with ads IN their podcasts, because everything everywhere needs to be monetized. 🙄
What I’ve been seeing lately, almost every other listing, is a post, not a video. I’m at YT to watch videos, not read posts. Do I just have to suck it up and deal with it, cancel my YT account and just really, really curate my videos, or is there a way to filter posts out?
I read so many horror stories about being a seller and how Etsy just doesn’t have their back and fees and all. I’m going to sell fairly inexpensive beaded bracelets, necklaces, and earrings in a saturated market, but I think my product is a little special (don’t we all?) in design. I’m going to make my own website, so there’s that (I AM a semi-retired web designer and graphic designer IRL).
If I say no refunds, if a buyer complains, will Etsy turn around and give them a refund anyway? A refund would definitely not break the bank, but still.
Is it even worth it to pursue selling on Etsy? Is it worth a shot?
I’m using the non-streaming Music. Why, when I have at least 1500 songs, and I hit Shuffle, does Music pretty much play the same songs all the time???
I'm new-ish to Affinity v2 and frankly didn't have much experience clipping or masking in Illustrator anyway. I have a large 2-layer background (a colored background with diagonal stripes on top) that I want to clip/mask to a certain size (I'm going to need to have different sized shapes for different collateral pieces). I've grouped the 2 layers. I've created a rectangle to the size I want to use as a clipping layer or mask. I've tried grabbing the rectangle layer and moving it above and below the grouped layers. It doesn't seem to be working. No masking, that I can see. I'm at a loss. Can anyone help me out?
