Potential Hot Take? but when Doctor Who returns it should be an anthology series.

A whole season of one-off episodes featuring different Doctors in different eras that culminate in the finale/Christmas special.

It would be perfect bc you can have any Doctor/Companion return without the commitment of carrying a full season by themselves and It would be so fun seeing companions from one era get to share episodes with Doctors from another. 10 and Clara or 11 and Rose would be electric 😭😭 Seems like a no brainer to me.

Spent ages trying to get the anime effects concise enough to fit in the regular text box but gave up and just made them seperate cards lol

These are specifically for 60 card character decks i'm making for Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey that are built anime style (1-offs for all cards except cards we know they canonically had more than 1 of in their deck like Blue-Eyes -- and also including modern support in the same context -- like there's 1 red-eyes fusion in Joeys deck, 1 secrets of dark magic in yugi's deck etc. I plan to put the vanilla versions of the Gods in the decks, and then have these “Effect Cards” on the side for reference.

*The effects are intended to be culminations of their broken anime abilities, while also incorporating some effects from support cards released for them over the years. For example, the new effect I gave Slifer is a reference to both the Raigeki alt artwork and the Thunder Force Attack Spell.

The goal is to recreate the feeling of the Gods as they appeared in the anime, and, where possible, allow for iconic moments such as Obelisk punching through Mirror Force or Slifer having its attack redirected by Magic Cylinder, but within a loose TCG framework.*

Designs are a work in progress, and i'm not a photoshop wizz by any means, but yeah. Used ai to make the attribute and icon but will remake them properly before printing lol.

Also just noticed Obelisks effect didnt copy the infinity symbol from my notes into photoshop lol whoops.
