This journey has been amazing

Bro 16 years ago TWD came out, i'm still working on dead city and Daryl Dixon, i absolutely fell in love with the series and the universe and i wanted to share some of my favorite things with you guys and wanted to hear what you guys loved about the universe.

The first thing i loved about the show is the relationships our characters have with each other and the impact on each other. Rick and Shanes' relationship remind me so much of those buddy cop movies and also a little bit of high school rivalry and thanks to Shane, Rick became so badass.

Negan, omg, Jeffery Dean Morgan is such a legend for his acting, and i love how his backstory shows why he turned out the way he is (especially his relationship with his ole lady and the tribute he made).

I think one relationship that is pretty underrated is the relationship between Ezekiel and Jesus, literally they're like boys and Jerry starts fucking up the vibes. Ezekiel is like Jerry shut up fool, you are fucking up the vibes with my dawg. I love that relationship and that moment between Ezekiel and Jesus, and Ezekiel and Jerry.

Rick and Daryl always felt like brothers 2.0 and i like how in season 2 they progressed so much in their relationship (i personally love how Shane was jealous and was like go take your boy Daryl with you).

The final things i loved were the fight scenes, specifically the war in season 7 and season 10, such a brilliant moment to bring in a new enemy for our protagonists. Bro i am literally tearing up right now writing this.

The ones who live always felt like a slight extension of the characters arc of what happened to Rick and how he was still alive the whole time and tried getting back to his family.

But what do you guys think, what did you like most about the shows, and do you feel like the writers did a great job? Personally, for me, i'll give this universe a score of 9/10, they literally did an amazing job writing these shows, but the problem for me is that timeline feels a bit off and there are certain parts of the universe that needs to branch out and explain more of what happened, like a 30 something year time jump, other than that, i absolutely enjoyed it.

Who would you guys want to be friends with in the movie

This is a question I wanted to ask on the birthday of when the sinners movie came out but I had to attend a funeral. Who would you guys wanna be friends with ?
For me it would be either the smokestack twins because they can teach you so much about life and how business works, or likely Annie because she can teach you about protection bags and stuff. A third option and this is purely for love, Mary, she will love you for you. What about you guys, who would you want to be friends with?

What did you guys like most about the show

10 years ago, Stranger Things came out and bro the Duffer Bros really outdid themselves with the show from beginning to end (yes, season 5 included despite some hiccups). One of the best things they did so well was writing the relationship of the characters associated with each other and relating it to us, the viewers.

My favorites were Joyce and Hoppers relationship, Hopper and Jane, Murray, Hopper, and Joyce, for the reason that he really stepped over the line in season 3 if i remember correctly talking about the twos relationship, like that was so funny, Dustin and Steves relationship, Holly and Max's relationship, and Max's relationship with the D&D gang (Joyce and El as well).

Joyce and Hopper, i absolutely had so much high hopes that they would get their happy ending and i was right, the way they talk to each and how the two (Hopper in particular when it came to Mike and El) confide in each other really shows it.

Jane and Hopper, bro this is literally one of the relationships that is literally S tier in terms of a father and daughter relationship and bro i was crying so much when Jane called Hopper her dad and when Hopper called himself her old man and he loves her. It is such a special relationship.

Dustin and Steve, for some reason i always thought these two would be at each other's throat all the damn time, and i'm so glad that i was wrong because these two are brothers for real (Jonathan and Stevens relationship included). But the best part was where the two hug after Dustin doesn't want to lose Steve.

Joyce and Eleven, bro this is one of the relationships that need to be talked about more, like she literally treats Eleven like one of her own children. But also, how writers need to write more mother and daughter relationships in future shows, movies, and video games.

Holly and Max's relationship is one of the more unique ones i've seen throughout the series because i always pictured Max not really interacting with Holly, but her character was written so well that it worked. I love their relationship very much.

Max's relationship with the D&D gang is literally one of the most relatable ones, just like the rest of the relationships i've talked about. You essentially are the new kid or the FNG (if you get the reference), the nerds see you and try to befriend you, but you say no, but you open more and you're part of the family.

I feel like one relationship that isn't talked about most is Murray and Mr. Clarkes relationship, bro where do i even start with this one, like there's not enough time in the day to be talking about this one. One of the funnier relationships you seen in tv.

What did you guys think of the show/what did you like most about the show, snookums'? I will definitely have my kids watch this show in the future

Great news for everyone

I have amazing news, i just went ahead and bought my lectric ebike, and i bought my niece her own gotrax ranger ebike on the gotrax website (couldn't go with the mustang since in our state, it's one of the moderate states, we cant go faster than 20 mph on pedal). This is so exciting, we'll be able to use these bikes like everyone else, plus there is a bike ride group in my state where we will be able to participate in. I am going to show my niece how to ride the gotrax since she knows how to ride a normal bike but an ebike is a different story. And for a Christmas gift for you guys, i'll show you the ebikes and give a full review on the bikes because we want to customize it. It feels great being in this community. I also went to a local shop of bikes and got us some locks

I need this to replicate this and John didn’t need do his son like that

Bro, im getting back into series by Saturday and pick up where I left off on season 2 episode 8, but there’s one thing I want the most, as we all know in the series, the Winchester twins use a special type of weapons rack and attach it to their car (their old man included along with Gordon walker) and Im going to try replicate that damn rack and put it on my cutlass supreme (72 year model). Also, John didn’t have to do his son by telling him to touch up his car, wouldn’t had given you the damn thing if I thought you were going to ruin it in season one episode 20, just look at deans face 😂😂. I can’t wait to see Johnny boy again, that scene in season one will always kill me 😂😂

I’ve made up my mind and I want your opinions

After a couple of days of thinking about what bike to get, I decided to go with a gotrax ranger ebike, and with the extra funds left over, I’ll get my niece her very own ebike, Lectric this will be so much fun to ride around and build up my confidence. The thing I want y’all opinion on is would you like for me to show you video footage of the bike, its specs and me testing it on the road or would you a more detailed evaluation experience of what’s like to ride on it when I spend time on it? Now that I know what to buy, now I can start working tomorrow and get my funds ready for the purchase and the protection, I’ll even tell you guys a story on my next post. Thanks you guys for helping me make up my mind

I think I’m gonna have to go to plan B (update) what do you guys think?

A little update for you guys, I asked y’all (sorry for saying that, my Texas side came out of me) what bike do you recommend I go with and you all had great recommendations, especially the one person that said check my local shops for an e-bike. Unfortunately after looking on their websites and going in person, the prices of the e-bikes were too high, 19 to almost 5000 dollars and out of my budget range for what I need to get (go figure), so while I’m back at square one, I got the idea to look on Facebook marketplace, Amazon, or even dicks sporting good, do you guys think it’s a good idea to do that or should I try something else? Thanks
Side note, my budget is 1000 to 1400, didn’t want to take more out of my account since I had to consider safety equipment, and a lock as well
Also after I get an e-bike, I plan on getting a helmet, elbow and knee pads (I shouldn’t had thrown those old skateboard accessories away, be surprised how many times I hit my ankle and wrist when I was 11), and I just need gloves. That’s why i said It’s out of my budget range.

I’m taking a much needed break and I do have a question if you guys can answer without spoilers ofc

As I’m watching season two, I’m noticing a pattern with Ellen a bit, you know how we see in season one we see multiple women that team up with dean and Sam, saved them, but I’ve notice they are very maternal like to them, their mom Mary, Missouri, I saw this a lot in season one, and I seen this in season two. Especially when Ellen told sam who that hunter was and I can feel the maternal protective and concern has for Sam and dean since they had no idea who they were working with, and also when she flies out to get Jo. Speaking of that, I love her relationship with her daughter and also when they were fighting, I’ll never forget dean saying “cat fight” 😂😂.My question is will I be able to see more of Ellen’s maternal nature and her working with the Winchester boys? Bro I’m absolutely loving this show so much, I need a break, I’ll leave it at season 2 episode 8.

I appreciate this community being supportive of this journey on I’m on, also remind me to record and put dean saying cat fight as my ring tone, that is so funny

I love this movie and want y'all opinion on something.

I watched this movie at least 12 times in my life, that's how good this movie was and i will share this movie with my kids when they're old enough to watch it. After watching this movie so many times, i feel like they could've gone ahead and showed more historical accuracy in the movie since there's more stories in the 1930s, i am a history buff, i like seeing things relate to history. There’s plenty of historical accuracy in it as it is, but what’s a teeny winny little bit more historical connection

My only critique about this movie is that we never got to see any more ways for them to kill a vampire instead of the sunlight, wooden stake to the heart, and burning them alive (what about cutting their heads off).

But here's what i really wanted to see, y'all remember the Indians that visited Bert and Joaney Joan, what if they heard about the commotion in the juke joint right, and they see Smoke and Sammy dumping a body, they come to them, avoiding the vampires, enter the juke joint, give them more information on vampires since Annie covered the basis of vampire mythology since they have been chasing daddy Remmick for what i roughly estimate a couple days to weeks on end (since Indians Tribes are more friendlier and established an alliance with the Irish during the 1900s time period).

And when Grace lets them in, they all fight, Smoke, Sammy, Choctaw, Annie, Pearline (fuck Delta Slim) against the vampires. What do you guys think, what did you want to see from the movie?

Also isn't Remmick handsome?

u/Ashbash151 — 2 months ago

Smoke is more relatable than originally expected, Stack included and the other characters.

When i rewatch Sinners so much, i always relate to the characters in some way or try to relate to em, you know? When i paid attention to Smoke, i realize that when my grandma passed away (God rest her soul, 2017 when she passed away, love you gram gram) i felt similar emotions to what Smoke felt when he lost his child, anger, sadness, but a willingness to do better, keep living. Understand that life will have its time where it'll take people from you, who means something to you, but when you understand why it happened, the pain is there when the realization hits but it nullifies a little or a good amount. When i look back at my life from a child to a young adult currently, i realize how far i came, how much i grew, how much i still have to learn more about, and who i have on my team that'll back me up when i need it. I had gone from happiness, sadness, depression, anger, denial, understanding, redeemed and ready to do what I need to do. Was it ever like that for you guys when you watched the movie, you understand the character and how they're feeling, and how you overcame what you faced? Funny thing is that life is like Rocky and Sinners, you start from the bottom, rise, go down, rise again, then fall at a humbler position and understanding life.

dude, this is insane, am i just crazy or did i not just hear what i said?

Bro, i literally was watching episode 5 of season 2 of Supernatural (finished as well), and as Andy and his brother was talking, and he said "Yellow Eyed Demon"? Bro, am i going crazy or are my tv shows antagonist senses tingling? I'm loving this season and this show so much right now, i don't want this to end. I really love Ellen, she don't play, she's like Missouri, but she don't fuck around fuck around. Bro, this is getting good for my first time watching, i'm getting goosebumps hearing those words. I'll keep y'all informed on my progress, likely posting after i finish the season. Btw, dad's on a hunting trip and he hasn't been home in a few days. 21 and Im watching a peak show

I feel bad for Dean

For context, when i watched season 1 (still on season 2 episode 4 or five, been watching The boys more often), i always felt bad for Dean, he got kidnapped by Shapeshifter, he then gets outmatched by human hunters and got bitch slapped in the back of the head from one of the hunters, he gets electrocuted by the reaper, he get reprimanded by his old man, John, for not keeping an eye on Sammy, he then is at deaths door in the first episode of season 2, and finally, he then reprimanded by Missouri, trash talked by her, and had to clean up after battling the demon. I felt so bad for him, he’s been put through the ringer, and the last one really made me laugh. You guys ever feel bad for him, and was it funny seeing him get the bad end of the stick so much? One more question, does he get more bad ends of the stick in the later seasons? I gotta catch up on Supernatural, i'm way behind schedule, supposed to be on season 4 by now.

I want some ideas of what I can do.

The main goal of this boy band party of 2026 is to make proper adjustments to my room and design it more aesthetically pleasing for me when I get my money right. I want to toss the totes out and I want to get two dressers, and a pc table or a similar table to the one I have. The first photo is where I want my first dresser to go on the right side of my wall. The second photo is where I want to throw this table out, keep the things I have and place it in my second table so I can pull my bed in more, and I want to get a new gaming chair as you see the old one on the ground. The third photo is where I want the second dresser to go to, i threw out the other two coolers I had and got my ps2, the cords, and the lightning McQueen suitcase with my Wii driving controllers and old Xbox 360 controllers. I also have my Nintendo Wii and the Xbox one controller in the bag you see. I want to put the stuff in a separate space, and sell the BB gun you see in the shadow. The forth Photo is where the fun begins. I want to toss out the drill, the mitts and gloves I use for mma training, move the table more left. And as you see, the table on the right is the fucking problem, I want to put a pc table or a similar table (you guys decide on which I should get) I have you see in the picture. The ps5 is where I’ll have to put on top of the table. The fifth picture is where I want the table at. I want to move the cooler you see in the picture where the first dresser is at. The bag you see is where I got the Wii controllers is at. This is my bed in the sixth photo, big one, I want to pull it in more. The final photo is where you can see I got shoes, mres and school supplies (it’s in the second tote that’s inside of the aqua blue tote), laptop, Xbox, and calculator. That’s where I want to put my dresser and cooler in. What do you guys think, do you think it can work or should I do something different?

Sorry I deleted the original post, I forgot to add the 7th photo, please forgive me.

update post and I got great news

a year ago i asked you guys what board i should get and you guys said get a used model, the good news is that i made my decision on getting either an xr or gt, used. The better news is that i am working on getting my money right to get it, the problem is that i got two offers and i don't know which one to get (mind you, these are used and used like new), one xr on ebay for 500 plus the charger and a spare wheel come with it. The other one is on fb marketplace for a gt, 800 plus the charger, extra charger, wheel, and battery replacement, both sides have positive reviews. The question i have for you is that can i have it be shipped to an access point and i can pick it up that way, and if so, how do i do that?

What bike should I get

Hello guys, I’m trying to decide what kind of e bike I should buy, I need something that has 750 watts, has peddle, a throttle, and can go 20 miles an hour. I read the laws on what my bike should be able to do, what I can and cannot do, and what I need to do when I’m out there on the road, do you guys have any recommendations for what bike I should get and where I should get one? Thanks

Season 1 was crazy

My first time watching the show and I couldn't believe season 1, 2 weeks of watching it and it blew my mind, the ending of the season was crazy. I can't believe that Sam didn't shoot the demon, whatever its name is, and i couldn't believe that John and his son teamed up to fight the vampires and the demon. My questions are, if you guys can give me answers without spoilers ofc, if the colt is used up in terms of the ammunition, is it possible for our heroes to manufacture more in later seasons despite John saying that it'll be useless, will the fight scenes be crazier in season 2, and can i expect the demon to make its full appearance and get a back story on it in the second season?

I’ll keep yall posted on my timeline story and let you know my thoughts
