How do I straighten my hair so it looks sleek and smooth?
The first picture is from right after I got a haircut and the second picture is me styling my hair myself. My hairdresser straightened my hair to be super smooth, shiny, and flat, but when I try to do it on myself it looks frizzy, dry, and poofy.
My process: I apply a little oil to my wet hair, then fully blow dry it. Then, I apply heat protectant and blow dry it straight with a round brush. Next, I straighten it more with a flat iron and apply a little more oil afterward.
I think I have fine hair so I don’t do too well with heavy and thick products. Are there any suggestions for what products I should be incorporating into my routine? Or suggestions on how I should change my routine?

What should I invest in long term as someone who knows nothing about investing?
I am a student with about $7000 in my savings account that I don’t use and I figured I could put some of that money towards investing long term. I’m hoping to just slowly grow my money and look back at it after a long while Any suggestions on what I should invest in as someone who knows nothing about stocks?
Basically I’m looking for something that is stable and can increase my money. It doesn’t matter how fast it grows.
Are there specific apps that are usually recommended to invest with?
If I’m using money from my savings account, can I set it so that there is a limit to how much of it goes towards investing?
