I recently started reading books seriously, and I’ve run into a problem.

While reading physical books, I keep encountering unfamiliar words. I try checking a dictionary side by side, but it breaks the flow of reading and feels messy. If I use my phone to search meanings, I get distracted almost immediately and lose immersion in the book.

So now I’m stuck between:

• continuing without understanding certain words, or
• constantly interrupting the reading experience.

How do experienced readers deal with this?

Do you:

• ignore some words and infer from context?
• mark them and check later?
• use a Kindle/e-reader for instant definitions?
• keep a vocabulary notebook?
• or is there a better system altogether?

Would genuinely appreciate practical advice, especially from people who started reading regularly as beginners.

Guys is it worth doing masters in du? I missed cuet exams so should I consider taking a drop or not for pursuing masters in du or should I look out for another uni too. Does anyone knows the exam date !? Like i was checking from mid April & it was showing 30 may. But now it shows only may to June. I wanna know if anyone visited board office for applying, do u guys have any idea for the date as board officers or clerk do have a rough approximate for the dates.
