Has anyone here tried smoking cbd hemp?

I’m curious if anyone has actually tried smoking industrial hemp with very low THC, for example under 0.2% THC and around 5% CBD.

What was your experience like? Did you notice any effects at all, and how would you describe the taste, smell, and overall smoking experience?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have tried properly grown and dried hemp flower, rather than just hemp products like CBD oil.

Thanks!

How much control do you have over your lucid dreams?

I'm curious about how much control people actually have over their lucid dreams.

For example, let's say I become lucid and decide: "I want to perform a concert in a huge arena."

Can you actually make the entire scene appear and behave realistically? Like the arena, the crowd, the stage, the lighting, the sound system, the other musicians, the atmosphere, etc.? And can you interact with everything naturally, as if you were actually there?

I'm especially interested in whether you can intentionally "generate" things that you've never experienced in real life, while still having them feel completely believable.

For those of you who are experienced lucid dreamers, how much control do you usually have? Can you basically create an entire scenario from scratch, or are there limits to what you can control?

What movies best capture the atmosphere of 1990s New York hip hop?

I'm looking for movies that really represent the golden era of NYC hip hop. Boom bap, street culture, graffiti, DJs, MCs, neighborhoods like Queensbridge, Brooklyn or the Bronx, and the overall vibe of the early to mid-90s.

They don't necessarily have to be about rap itself, just movies that feel like that era.

Any recommendations?

Beautiful guitar solos that aren't too difficult?

I'm looking for simple but beautiful and emotional guitar solos to learn.

They don't have to be technically difficult, I'm more interested in solos that are expressive, melodic, and full of feeling. Any genre is welcome.

What are your favorites?

Does memorizing all notes + intervals on the fretboard actually help?

I’ve been thinking about learning the fretboard more deeply.

Would it actually improve my guitar playing if I memorized all the notes on the neck and also knew where every interval is from any root?

My idea is that it would make navigation and improvisation much easier, like I could instantly understand what’s happening anywhere on the neck instead of thinking in fixed positions.

For example being able to quickly find any note (C, F#, Bb, etc.) and also things like the 3rd, 5th, 7th from any position.

Is this kind of knowledge actually useful in real playing and improvising?

What's the craziest meditation story you've ever heard?

I'm curious about the most extreme or unbelievable stories related to meditation. It could be something from Buddhist traditions, monks, yogis, long-term meditators, or even personal experiences.

For example, I've heard stories about Shaolin monks or advanced meditators allegedly developing extraordinary abilities through years of practice. Whether you believe such stories or not, I'd love to hear the wildest meditation-related claims, experiences, legends, or documented cases you've come across.

How do advanced players actually think through chord changes when improvising?

Hi everyone,

I've been playing guitar for about 2 years, although I also have a piano background and a decent understanding of music theory.

Over the last couple of years I've learned:

  • major and minor scales
  • modes
  • pentatonics
  • triads and 7th chords
  • arpeggios
  • CAGED
  • basic jazz harmony
  • ii-V-I progressions
  • guide tones and targeting chord tones

Recently I've become fascinated by a Hungarian guitarist named Botos Tibor. I'll attach a video of his playing because it represents the kind of style I'm interested in (a mix of jazz, gypsy/roma influences, virtuosic melodic improvisation).

The problem is that I feel stuck between theory and actual improvisation.

For example, I understand the idea of targeting the 3rd of each chord in a ii-V-I progression. But once the harmony becomes more complex and there are many chord changes, I feel overwhelmed.

Let's say I'm on Dm7 and targeting F, then G7 comes and I need to think about B, then another chord arrives, and so on. At real tempo I simply can't process all of that consciously.

This makes me wonder:

  • How do advanced improvisers actually think?
  • Do they consciously track chord tones in real time?
  • Is the solution to memorize the fretboard more deeply?
  • Should I spend more time on arpeggios?
  • Learning licks?
  • Transcribing solos?
  • Ear training?
  • Or is it simply thousands of hours of playing standards?

I'm curious how players who have already crossed this bridge would approach my situation.

Thanks!

Can long-term meditation lead to deeply euphoric states similar to psychedelics?

Hi everyone,

I've been meditating regularly for a while, and I've become curious about the long-term effects of deep meditation practice.

I've heard some people claim that after years of consistent meditation, it's possible to experience profoundly blissful or euphoric states that can, in some ways, resemble psychedelic experiences. I'm not necessarily talking about visual hallucinations, but rather intense feelings of peace, joy, unity, presence, or altered states of consciousness.

I'm wondering:

-Have any of you experienced something like this through meditation alone?

-How long had you been practicing when it happened?

-Did it occur during meditation, or did the effects carry over into daily life afterward?

-Would you say it felt comparable to a psychedelic experience in any way?

I'd love to hear both personal experiences and any insights from long-term practitioners.

Thanks! 🙏

How do you enhance your meditation sessions?

Hi everyone,

I'm curious about how you improve or enhance your meditation sessions.

Do you use anything besides simply sitting and meditating? For example:

-Binaural beats or other types of meditation music?

-Ambient sounds (rain, nature, ocean waves, etc.)?

-Incense, essential oils, or scented candles?

-Special lighting or a dedicated meditation space?

-Any rituals before or after meditation?

I'm interested in hearing what works for you personally and whether you've noticed any real benefits from these additions.

Thanks!

Jazz Guitar Courses

Hey everyone,
Can anyone recommend a good jazz guitar course that covers the fundamentals really well? I’m looking for something that teaches the basics properly. Chords, harmony, improvisation, fretboard knowledge, rhythm, etc. Preferably beginner-friendly but still in-depth.Paid or free, both are welcome. Thanks!

What benefits has lucid dreaming brought you personally?

Hey everyone,
I’ve recently become really interested in lucid dreaming and I’m thinking about seriously learning it. I wanted to ask people here who already practice it regularly:

-What are the biggest benefits of lucid dreaming for you personally?
-Why do you think it’s worth learning?
-Has it helped you creatively, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, or even with confidence/fears?

I’m especially curious about real experiences and long-term effects rather than just “it’s fun”. Would love to hear your stories and opinions.

Hey everyone,

My Google account got hacked. The password and phone number were changed, so I can’t access it anymore.

I still have access to the recovery email, but Google only lets me verify via SMS to the hacker’s number, which I obviously can’t use. It doesn’t give me the option to use my recovery email at all.

The recovery process is also really frustrating because it only asks for things I can’t access anymore. For example:

-It asks for a code from Google Authenticator (but I can’t log into the account there)

-It offers to send a code to the hacked email itself (which I obviously can’t access)

So basically all the options require access to the account… which is exactly what I don’t have.

I’ve tried the account recovery process multiple times, but it doesn’t help in my case.

I can prove the account is mine:

-My face is clearly visible in many videos on the linked YouTube channel

-Google Photos has years of my personal pictures

-Even the profile picture is my face

Is there anything else I can do to recover my account?

Thanks for any help 🙏
