They say we don't have the family's permission. I say we don't need it. We're allowed to show 'em nude because they ain't got no soul.
The guys at Spectrum think I'm just some dumb hick. They said that to me at a dinner.

It's my cake day and there's no place I'd rather celebrate than here. All I ask is...
Thank you all for being awesome.
Tell me I'm not crazy (or tell me that I am)
My dad passed away a few years ago, about 6 years before he passed I bought 2006 z4m black with brown int and wood trim - softop. The z3 & z4 were the cars I wanted in my 20's.
My dad saw this and turned around and bought his dream car from his 20's. A '64 Porsche 356 SC - yellow with black int - hardtop / coupe. I'm not much of a fan of the yellow, I gave him shit about it when he first got it, which was enjoyable. But it was the color and trim he wanted when he was young. More power to him.
That car can become mine if I want it, but I only have space for one non-daily driver. I know, poor me my life is so hard. I do feel like a spoiled brat in this situation.
But seriously. I love my z4m. It's such a blast to drive and suits my style and vibe so well. The Porsche has all the charm in the world, but expectedly drives like a car from 1964. Maintenance will be much more costly, but I'm not too concerned about that component in this decision.
If this was a car he bought 2 or 3 decades ago and I had memories of him driving it, it would be a no brainer. But he didn't buy this thing until I was damn near 40. I don't have any sentimental feelings about it. I have a bunch of sentimental items from his life, this car just isn't one of them. It's just a nicely maintained classic imo.
I honestly leaning to keep the z4m and sell the Porsche, but then I also think I'm probably insane for thinking that. I think 90% of people would choose the Porsche.
But maybe not in this forum?
I figure if you all tell me I'm crazy to keep the z4, then I'm certifiable.
