NBA 2k27 ratings revealed: Kyrie Irving & Cooper Flagg at 87, no other Maverick in the top 100

2 Mavericks players get placed in top 100 for player rating. The 3 MVP finalists (SGA, Jokić, Wemby) get a 97 while Luka remains in that 96 purgatory as almost always.

I just finished reading "The Soldier and the Hag" and "For Demacia" on Garen's Universe page and highly recommend them to all Garen mains

I have been browsing the League of Legends Universe pages of Demacia champions, moving alphabetically. Reading Garen's short stories I mentioned in the thread title really helped me understand him better as a character in the League lore. Needless to say I liked Garen before, but like him even more now. :)

I hope you can take some time and read them as well. You won't be disappointed.

Here are the links to both stories:

The Soldier and the Hag - Universe of League of Legends

For Demacia - Universe of League of Legends

Note: For Demacia is a bit of a longer read, but well worth it.

A very important week coming up for Gen.G!

They face off against HLE on Thursday and T1 on Sunday. Winning both series would be huge for the standings. T1, HLE and GEN are tied at 16-6, but GEN trails T1 by 3 individual games and 1 individual game behind HLE.

Just a reminder that 1st and 2nd seed will get a Round 2 bye for Season Playoffs, which start on August 29th, so winning both of these series could very well decide if Gen.G has a realistic chance at a bye or not.

I ate to satiety twice in the same day for the first time in what feels like forever and I'm proud of myself

I know this might be a very small step for some, but I have been dealing with undereating and being way too light for months now, but today I had a healthy breakfast bowl that made me feel nicely full until my noon snack, and was able to convince myself to eat a big enough dinner to not feel hungry afterwards yet again.

I do feel some anxiety, because I'm a creature of habit and routine, which means having some Greek yogurt, banana and oats for supper as my last meal of the day, but I think I might skip it today.

I guess I just wanted to say I'm proud of myself.

DK ends up beating GEN in 3 games. They looked like the better team for most of the series and they deserve the win. GEN now has to face T1 to try and finish in 3rd place. Gg wp to DK, really well played by them. :)

2026 Esports World Cup - Day 3 - Quarterfinals - GEN vs. JDG - Post-game discussion

I waited a bit to see if someone would make that cool post-game discussion thread with the stats, but I guess it's my turn to come in the clutch with a basic one.

GEN put on a show in game 1, then came back in game 2 after giving a triple kill to Xayah in the early game. They beat JDG and move on to await the winner of DK vs. BLG.

2026 Esports World Cup - Day 2 Schedule

With the victory over KC, the boys will now face off against SEN at 11:00 AM CET in a Best of 1 match to qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament. Hopefully they play as well as they did against KC and not give us more heart attacks.

I keep wishing for me to not wake up the next morning, but it never happens

I am too tired of just dealing with daily mental health obstacles and challenges. I feel mentally drained just from standing in the kitchen for an hour due to decision paralysis. Then add an eating disorder on top of that, as well as decade long chronic depression, social anxiety disorder, passive suicidal ideation, thoughts of severe shame and guilt, not to mention general fear of taking any risks in my daily life. I just want to fall asleep and not wake up. Please, just make it so my parents never even had me, so they won't feel the pain of loss. Just erase me from existence, like I was never even born.

I'm underweight, constantly hungry and feeling completely drained from this mental battle

>!35yr!< old male, >!6'2"!< tall, weighing >!~137lbs!<.

I decided to lose weight just under 2 years ago, went on a strong calorie deficit diet, eating healthy food, removed added sugars, white bread, fried food and similar things from my diet.

The weight dropped fast as I was around >!206lbs!< at the start of it, but I just kept going once I reached what seemed like healthy weight and I also looked good again. But since staying in a state of constant low hunger while checking my weight every day made me keep going lower.

Now, 2 years later, I exercise almost every day to "earn my food" or I feel intense guilt afterwards. I have brain fog, I'm always tired, sore, no motivation for anything in life, dealing with daily depression and weekly suicidal thoughts, but most importantly hungry pretty much all the time, because I trained my mind to think that only the feeling of hunger is what helped me lose weight.

I am just mentally drained from all of it. I've been at my current weight of around >!137lbs!< for over half a year at this point and constantly think about just saying "fuck it" and start eating whatever I want all over again, because my body's been denied the food I used to enjoy for so long. Yet my mind won't let me and I'm just tired, so tired.

I'm at a point where I want to stay in bed, watch cartoons all day and only eat chocolate cereal 3 times a day.

2026 Esports World Cup - Group Stage Day 1 Schedule

Hey everyone,

EWC is around the corner and I wanted to remind everyone about our boys playing the first game of the day on the 15th (Wednesday).

GEN is part of Group B along with KC (Europe), SEN (North America) and TS (Vietnam).

The first match is against KC, at 11:00 AM CET, which is a BO1.

Assuming they win, they then play another BO1 against the winner of SEN vs. TS to advance in the tournament.

2026 MSI was an absolute banger of a tournament and I'm just sad that Gen.G wasn't a part of it

The entire tournament was so fun to watch, the storylines, the surprising rise of LCS, the downfall of LEC and in the end, the trophy staying in Korea.

I'm just bummed out that our boys didn't participate. Hopefully they are ready and hungry to dominate at the Esports World Cup, which is around the corner.

What did you think of this year's MSI and what surprised you the most?

I reached a point where I just want to sit on my bed all day, only eat cereal and watch cartoons

I have been in a state of depression waves for years, but my brain has become so numb over the past 8+ months that all I want to do is stay in bed, eat simple things that kids eat and watch Cartoon Network. I feel completely checked out and I don't want to participate in what society expects of me any more. I am too tired, feel mentally drained and just done. I'm done.

Gen.G somehow moves to #1 on LoL Esport's Power Rankings

I randomly checked lolesports.com and noticed the power rankings received an update and Gen.G is at the top. How is that possible? Is it because T1 is doing well at MSI play-ins and consequently raising Gen.G's stock? Anyways, I just found it interesting.

For anyone who can't be bothered to check the website, it's GEN #1, BLG #2, T1 #3 right now and BLG is only behind by a single point and T1 behind BLG by 30.

2026 LCK Rounds 1-2 / Week 7 / GEN vs. BFX / Game 2

GEN 2:0 BFX

Such a strong showing from every player. If we get this chemistry and pace against T1 on Saturday, then KT might be in danger of not getting back into 2nd place.

Also, redemption for Kiin on the Vayne!

POM goes to Chovy with a K/D/A of 14/1/15, he's sitting at 700 points in Rounds 1-2!

2026 LCK Rounds 1-2 / Week 7 / GEN vs. BFX / Game 1

GEN 1:0 BFX

BFX started off well, but then completely threw the game during that Herald fight, after which GEN's team comp just took over the game and nothing could be done to salvage it.

Also, Chovy penta!

▲ 28 r/Winter

Why do I feel so irresistibly drawn to harsh winter conditions in nature?

I feel such an unbreakable bond with photographs of harsh, freezing winter conditions in forest, mountains or just more isolated nature settings in general, but mostly forests and mountains.

I can't explain it, but the perceived miserable conditions of freezing cold out in the wilderness of nature, similar to those portrayed in movies such as The Revenant and The Grey give me a deep sense of comfort and in a strange way feeling of 'home', bringing me to tears sometimes.

Does anyone else feel the same or something similar?
