Planting a Black Gold cherry tree in a defunct old root system.

We had a dead 40 foot ash tree removed three years ago. I want to plant the cherry tree about 6 feet from where the ash was. I'm planning to go in with a mattock to hack up and remove the old root systems so the tree has the best chance possible. Has anyone done this before, and can you tell me how deep and wide I need to go to accommodate our new fruit tree?

I’ve owned all three seasons for forever

I just finally watched season 3 for the first time. It really sucks to end there, guys. I was thinking, there’s a little too much to wrap up in this last episode.

Something is biting the branches off of my new serviceberry tree

I assume it’s a squirrel, but I haven’t seen it. How can I stop whatever is doing it to protect the new tree? The branches look sheared off.

Inferno (1980)

I love to report movies that would be a riff fest to you guys. I was already laughing out loud with this one without riffs. The best part is that they weren’t trying to be funny. Pure 80s cheese and half the time I had no idea what was going on.

The fast and the furious and Justin and Sydnee

Can anyone help me with where to find these episodes again, please?

Potential trilogy?

So I just finished Lies of P and it was amazing. It sounds like the Wizard of Oz sequel will come relatively soon. I don’t know if the devs read this sub, but I would LOVE a third game based on Alice in Wonderland. I love that property anyway, but I think they would do an awesome job with it.

I have some regrets

Evil Pinocchio’s second phase was destroying me so I gave up the heart. Now I regret doing it, but I wasn’t even making a dent in his second phase.

Some of the scenes give me heavy Bioshock vibes

When you walk into the hotel and it’s wrecked and says HYPOCRITE in red on a giant banner felt right out of Bioshock. Whatever awards this game got, they weren’t high enough. Also, the Sophia reveal on the beach was just right to make me say “wait, what?”

I just killed the stalker in the train station

I think I’m starting to get what the story is now, especially since the first thing you see in the area is a carcass killing a puppet. I feel like a giant ass after killing that kid though.

Speed vs Damage

I just hit the green monster boss in the barren swamp and I’m having to evaluate this question. The wintry blade doesn’t have the highest damage but it is so fast I feel like it puts out more damage per “combat round.” I tried the puppet ripper, and while the range is great, by the time I get the charged heavy attack off they’re on top of me. So my instinct is saying speed with elemental grindstones.

Also, I prefer stabbing weapons because slash gets hung up on scenery so often. What is your preference and why?

I suspect I’m too soft

I think I tend to be too forgiving with some of the game choices. The brother and sister that abandon you before the black rabbit fight, I gave her brother a gold coin after Victor, and I gave the old lady in the hotel the medicine. Part of my brain was saying why are you doing that?

So I just beat Bane

That Champion Victor fight was a good time. I was getting some serious pro wrestling vibes during the fight. I’m starting to realize that I almost never block or use my fable art. I just forget that the fable art exists most of the time.

Jumping update

I made those cog jumps in the cathedral on my second try and the second jump had this prolonged hover look to it. It was really weird. Anyway, I opened the shortcut and don’t have to do that again!

I found one thing in this game I don’t care for

Judging jumping distance in life or death platforming situations sucks bad. I think I’ve missed 9 out of 10 jumps. I’m in the cathedral.

I should have played the game much sooner

This game is really great. I didn’t know it was similar to Bloodborne, otherwise I would have been on it. The survivor in the factory is wrecking my shop right now but I’ll be able to get there. Does anyone have any recommendations for human vs puppet fights? I’m only about 5 hours in but it’s awesome.

The Star Wars Special

So the Lovett or Leave It podcast has the creator of the Star Wars Christmas Special on and the interview is wild. It is a political podcast so if you don’t want to hear that part it’s right after his opening segment which is probably about 10 minutes long. This is information I never knew I needed.

Slave Girls from Beyond Infiniti

I cannot believe this movie hasn’t been riffed. The scene changes are head spinning, and all of the inconsistencies are just a delight. At one point they walk into a room that looks like the safari trophy room from Road House and I actually did a double take.
