I'm building a frankenbike from cheap parts for occasional casual riding. It started as a COVID sanity project and has moved along very slowly since then as I found parts. Why? Because, that's why. This is a back burner project.

I'm ready to get some wheels. I have a Shimano 9s Hyperglide CS-6500 cassette and if I were to get these wheels from Amazon, what kind of freehub body would I need?

I'm also slowly learning as I have time...slowly

I've only had the pilot light on and smelled smoke today. I went to the fireplace, identified it as the source of the smell, and saw this brown film on the inside of the glass. Is this spot or something burning in the pilot flame? I put it out and shut the gas off for now. Thanks for any help.

Instead of drilling them out can I use this open channel for a replacement canvas or will the length be off? The original canvas has two beads locked in place by the caps
