No late night place to chill or hangout in the town?

Yesterday me and my friends decided to pull a night out. It was 2 am. We had a car and also had females with us. Surprisingly, we didn't find any places open in the town where we can sit and chill comfortably.

Even McDonald's was closed at 2 am, they said only the drive through is open.

The only place open was Khetlapa and Dwarkadish at College Road which is a bit shady considering you have females with you.

Since there were 2 lady police officers having Tea at Dwarkadish we proceeded to sit there.

But it's very sad and surprising at the same time, that there's no single good cafe or any other eatery where you can sit and chill late at night.

Anyone remember Freeway Mall and Haute Peppers? Just spotted them while rewatching a classic TMKOC episode

Was rewatching Tmkoc arc where Purush Mandli rush to Ahmedabad to bring back Mahila Mandli and Keri to Mumbai on Navratri night.

I paused a scene in which Freeway Mall was featured on SG Highway! You can see the old Haute Peppers also (screenshot attached).

Hit me with pure mid-2000s nostalgia. Hitting Crossword downstairs and eating at Haute Peppers was peak weekend vibes back then. Absolute OG spot before the modern cafe boom!

Now the restaurant is long gone and the mall is just a quiet office building.

Anyone else remember hanging out here back in the day?

Average day in life of an honest taxpayer residing at Bharuch

Wake up.

Get ready to hit the gym.

Hop on Activa.

Ride through so called roads that turn into a muddy porridge after a single spell of rain.

Get your clothes splashed with mud by fellow drivers with 0 civic sense.

Spend 30 minutes reaching a gym that's 1 km away due to traffic.

Return home. Another 20 minutes gone in traffic.

Slip on the mud and nearly fall because the roads have turned into a muddy river. Even villages have 100 times better roads.

Finally make it to home alive anyhow, looking forward to shower and take a nap in AC before starting work in this heat.

Then reality strikes.

Power cut from 9 AM to 3 PM.

On a WFH day.

With an important file due to your manager before noon.

But sure we are the vishwagurus. Even Africa would laught at this.

Let's keep paying taxes and pretending basic infrastructure is too much to ask for!!! 😊

Visiting Navi Mumbai for a day

Hi Navi Mumbai peeps. 22M here, I am from Gujarat and I'll be in Navi Mumbai on this friday for work and would check out at 12 pm Saturday.

I would have the whole day to explore as my return train would be late at night.

I need good local food recommendations, a sunrise and sunset point if any in the city or any must visit places here or in Mumbai.

Till now I have shortlisted the following:

Hotel Mauli Krupa for Misal

Quick break in Khargar for loaded burgers

My hotel is in Mahape.

Maybe i would be solo, if someone would like to join me that would be a cherry on the cake, be it any gender or age :)

I won't be able to spend much, max 1500 for the whole day including travel, local buses and trains are fine for me.

Hope i would be safe if idk Marathi😅
