So this comment was from a recent now removed post about bfs and pretend feminists in another sub. And this comment was an overstretch from what OP had posted and wanted to discuss. I am inviting opinions on the first point which is just a fancy way of being a "not all men" apologist in my opinion.

It is not totally incorrect, in that women are not perfect, morally superior humans who never commit crime. But once again we have the "women do all that too" argument for the nth time. For me "good number of contribution" just doesn't cut it to say both women and men contribute equally to gender violence. But I'm inviting discussion on that.

But it's the second point I want to comment on and put here what my reply would have been-

Just one question in response to the second point- Who constitute the perpetrators if 90% victims are men? If you didn't guess, it was a rhetorical question. Lemme give you the answer.

81% of homicide victims = male.

About 90% of people formally brought as homicide suspects? Surprise surprise. Male.

Women accounted for roughly 10% of homicide suspects. (UNODC Global Study on Homicide 2023, using 2021 data)

Also of all the women murdered, their perpetrators? Statistics would heavily lean towards, surprise, men.

Conclusion?

MEN ARE NOT GENERALLY SAFER AT NIGHT FROM OTHER MEN.

MEN ARE SAFER AT NIGHT FROM MOST WOMEN.

WOMEN ARE NOT SAFER AT NIGHT FROM MOST MEN.

WOMEN ARE SAFER AT NIGHT FROM MOST WOMEN.

The point would stand only if the perpetrators for male homicide victims were equally men and women, and perpetrators for female homicide victims were equally men and women as well.

This goes without saying. Any parent with a daughter knows this. Is it the women who are going on murdering these 81% men (or 90% according to the commentor)? And that doesn't take into account the statistics of the perpetrators of LGBT homicide victims. Which again, we know the answer.

Thus, we should not throw inflated statistics like 90% if we don't have the critical analysis skill and don't know how to apply that to a debate.

We call these white ones Tarata flower. त-रा-ट. Known as Crape Jasmine or Tabernaemontana divaricata 'Flore Pleno' (Double Chandni). They smell so sweet and divine. They are the double petal counterpart to the single petal Tagara flower or pinwheel jasmine/crape jasmine.

Last three slides are Mogra. I made a huge thick garland and we sent it to the temple. We get way more flowers than this though. It's really blissful.
