Cal, Julio, Naylor, Munoz, Refsnyder, Castillo, and potentially Bryce Miller are on their way to having career worst seasons.

Dan and the training staff let Cal overwork himself into an oblique injury after the WBC and then play through it which arguably cost his season.

Dan and the training staff filled with fucking doctors got bamboozled by a 20 year old kid and acted surprised to find out he needed season ending surgery.

Now one of our players who was actually performing is on concussion protocol because one of our coaches hit him in the dome during BP???

The guys doing the day to day management of this team are either criminally incompetent or possibly actively trying to sabotage this team. I don't know how else to rationalize it.

It doesn't matter who Jerry signs or trades for if our day to day coaching staff either brings out their career worst numbers this consistently, puts them on the IL through dumb mistakes in the batting cages, or keeps them from getting the treatment they need because you accepted a 20 year old kid saying "I'm fine" instead of inspecting their fucking wrist to see if it needs surgery.

EDIT: Obligatory update to keep this sub focused on boats.

Two of my regular crows (Sheryl and Butthead) felt safe enough to raise a fledgling in the trees behind my building.

Yesterday he made it up to the top of the fence.

Late this afternoon I could hear crows I recognized making distress noises I didn't. When I walked out my heart sunk.

I could see a black lump. Butthead's wings were flexed over the top, and Sheryl kept pecking at it.

Little dude got hit by a car.

I couldn't let him just sit in the street and risk the crows I'd built up such a relationship risk getting hit. They were trying to protect it from getting hit again despite the fact it was clearly gone so I put on gloves and moved it to the green way next to the sidewalk.

They were obviously stressed by me picking up the body, but I swear they knew I was trying to help. They perched on the power lines above me and it was some of the angriest squawking I'd heard from them until I moved away, but they went into full attack mode on other pedestrians walking nearby.

Momma kept trying to wake her baby up for hours.

I know it's a fledgling who doesn't know how to fly. I know this is an urban area. I still don't think that's an excuse to be so unobservant that you run over an animal.

The fact some uber eats couldn't be arsed to watch what they were doing makes me sad.

Thanks for letting me vent. I need a beer and a cry.

EDIT: Also I hadn't named this little guy yet because I thought I'd have time to watch them grow and base it around their behavior. I'm accepting posthumous suggestions. I know that's weird but I'm sad and want to give them a name when I remember them.

I have no idea if it gets active usage or if someone just set it up as a novelty, but it's there. First one I've ever seen!
