Lay Out Your Wildest Cast Predictions and Why?

I have one for you.

Josh Kiszka, lead singer for Greta Van Fleet. Greta Van Fleet is not on tour, Josh floats and dances around the stage and is flamboyant in his performances. Also the band has a new album coming out October 9th, what better way to publicize that a stint on Dancing With The Stars.

DWTS: The Next Pro - Episode 6

DWTS Pro Witney Carson joins tonight's The Next Pro epsiode as she mentors and guest judges. The dancers continue to compete for a pro spot on this season's Dancing with the Stars. Tonight's show is being described as one of the toughest challenges on The Next Pro to date.

Judge Mark Ballas states to the dancers: "This challenge goes to the very core of the job on 'Dancing with the Stars. If you can't teach an amateur, you should not be on the show."

Carson then reveals, "Each of you will be dancing a ballroom routine with fans of 'Dancing with the Stars,' and you have only two days to get them ready to perform."

The remaining dancers are Adele Zaikman, AJ Pritchard, Allen Genkin, Nina Mayster and Selena Hamilton. Do you have any predictions?

Bob Move Over and Let Those People Through

Bob, move over and let those people through. There will still be booze available by the time we get seated. Overheard at a Texas Roadhouse today when Bob was blocking people from gaining access to the hostess when they were called for seating. Sounds like Bob should have waited at the bar and got a drink.

Let's Get Into The Rumors - Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan Magazine just wrote a cast prediction article called Let's Get Into The Rumors.

Giada De Laurentiis -Her daughter is going to college this year, so maybe the timing would work for Giada.

Harry Shum Jr. - He was in Derek and Juliannę Hough's special Step Into The Movies.

Jenna Dewan - I thought she was busy with Rookie and having a new baby and boy oh boy are people going to complain about her dance experience if this one is true.

Taylor Hanson - MMMBop, I wanna know, seriously I do want to know if he will be on this season.

Jutta Leerdam - Olympian Dutch speed skater. Jake Paul's fiance, this tracks because he seems to be super supportive of anything that puts either one of their names out there.

The names are from the article, the comments are mine.

James Norton and a Potential Background Actor?

Seth Meyers interviewed James Norton regarding the subject of Hugh Norton, his Father being a bit or background actor in most of his shows. Has anyone see Hugh yet in House of Dragons, if so what episode? Or do you know what episode it will be if he will be in the show? James Norton's Father Hugh Norton is a retired teacher and professor. Hugh Norton is typically referred to as Papa Norton on various sets.

What fun that must be in a take your Dad to work for James Norton.

Lovely Herbal Tea

Today's tea is Harney and Son's Indigo Punch, 2 sugars. I brewed the loose leaf tea 5 minutes at 212 degrees. It is a delicious herbal tea that I like to have in a glass cup due to the beautiful color. The color is likely from the butterfly pea flower but it has many other fruit flavors in it.

It is also delicious as a cold brew tea served cool.

Just A Simple Bloody Mary

It's just a simple Bloody Mary tonight. No fancy fruits or vegetables, just an olive topper. I used a little too much habanero sauce but I'm powering through it.

Clamato juice

Worcestershire sauce

Nellie West Key Lime juice

Titos Vodka

El Yucateco Red Habanero Hot Sauce

Horseradish

Salt on the rim and an Olive topper

Version That Made You Rethink The Bloody Mary?

What is the version of a Bloody Mary that made you rethink the Bloody Mary? For me it was when I was in New Orleans at Brennans. Brennans has a Bloody Bull, they supplement their Bloody Mary mix with rich beef broth. The drink comes out simple, with an olive, pickled okra and pickled green bean, dusting of a spicy salt around the rim, but with a Bloody Bull mix like that you don't need a lot of fancy stuff on top.

Recreating a Bloody Mary at Home?

What Bloody Mary(s) do you try to recreate at home, either because where you had it is quite a distance, or that the restaurant closed or you would rather drink in the comfort of your home? Tell us about your favorite Bloody Mary you like to recreate.

For me it is this Bloody Mary from a long closed restaurant. It was called a Hail Mary, they varied the recipe sometimes. The Hail Mary had 3 delicious appetizer skewers that had peppered bacon, house made thick cut house pickles, peppered bacon, olives, celery, lime, croutons made from bread they baked, cheese, lime and a variety of other items. I loved going into this restaurant with a friend who had never been there before and ordering us both Hail Marys, then of course they would be shocked they got almost a meal with their drink. Fun times.

Recreating this one is complicated because it takes cooking and buying tons of ingredients, I don't bake the croutons of course or make the pickles.

Cheers!

Cheers! New Mod Intro

Hello, I wanted to introduce myself as a new co-moderator for r/bloodymarys. I have always loved bloody Marys and also love Cheladas. When I am at restaurants I will look at their photos to see what their garnishes are or quiz the restaurant when I get there. I love a Bloody Mary with a food skewer. As far as making a Bloody Mary at home I tend to like Zing Zang/Clamato mix. Today alas the store was out of Zing Zang, so I bought Mix Masters classic. That mix is a little tomato forward for me so I cut it with Clamato. There must have been a run on Bloody Mary Mixes for the holiday.

When I make a Bloody Mary at home the more toppers I can get, the better. I guess you could say I like a little snack with my drink. I don't measure exactly as I have been making them so long. I look forward to hanging out with ya'll. Thanks to GaryNOVA for allowing me to help.

Here is a photo of today's drink and ingredients.

In the glass

Tito's Vodka

1/2 Mix Masters classic

1/2 Clamato

Lime juice

Pickle juice

Worcestershire

Louisiana Hot Sauce

Reese horseradish

On the skewer

Tomato

Shrimp

Chomps jalapeno stick

Vlasic dill pickle slice

Olive

Sprinkle of lemon pepper on the skewer items

Submerged in the mix is another layer of the skewer ingredients.

On the glass is a lime wedge with a little salt on the edge of the glass.

Mod Introduction

Hello, I wanted to introduce myself as one of the new Mods for this community. I love all things tea, an avid tea drinker, I have 40+ kinds of tea and I am always looking for the perfect cup/variety/teaware. I am probably going to be the more modern side of teacups as alas I have no glorious teacup sets. Today in honor of Fish for Tea Friday I am showing off a cute pink speckled cup with a kitty cat lid and her fish teaspoon. The lid is great to use while steeping and keeping the tea warm and the fish spoon works to give the milk and honey or sugar a good stir.

I look forward to participating in this subreddit and seeing all your beautiful and unique tea things.

Pay For Parking Now At The Fold: Botanos & Bar

The Fold: Botanos & Bar in Little Rock made a social media post today that parking is no longer free.

The post:

" 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠

After 10+ years of providing free parking for our guests, the lot we've leased space from is becoming paid parking, and we unfortunately won't be able to continue offering it for free to you guys. We're actively working with other awesome neighbors to find another nights-and-weekends solution, but in the meantime, street parking is your best bet. Believe us, we hate this as much as you do, but we're doing everything we can to figure out another solution. We'll keep ya posted!"

Stationery Store Little Rock?

Does anyone have a stationery store recommendation in Little Rock area? I have a family member looking for old fashioned writing paper, cards and nice ink pens with refills. I know about Vanness but they moved from a retail store on Cantrell to more of a warehouse than store location on Shackleford. I haven't been to the new location so I don't know about their paper products. Thanks

When the sum of two are parts are greater than the original it is called Synergy. I am not sure what you call it when it comes to human genetics but the Sum of Heidi Klum and Seal who created this beautiful young man named Henry Samuel is certainly Synergy or something.

Update on The Pseudoaneurysm in Calf

I have an update on the pseudoaneursym that developed in my calf where my thrombectomy was done. Original post on the PE and DVT thrombectomies I had 2 months ago Blood Clots, Doctors and Uncertainty

There are three treatment types for this rare thrombectomy complication, 2 non-invasive and 1 is surgery. I had to have the surgery. Basically a vein was leaking blood into a pocket formed next to my artery instead of flowing properly. This could have ruptured and been life threatening so it had to be fixed. I went into the hospital one day and had an angiogram to determine what the best surgical path was for the Vascular surgeon to take. The next day he did surgery and the 3rd day I was sent home to heal.

I can't drive for 2 weeks which was pretty shocking because I was driving 4 days after the 2nd thrombectomy. Fortunately I have friends and family who will take me places and help with my cats. My leg is wrapped with an ace bandage that is removed at night. The leg is stiff, I am using a cane to make sure I am stable . There is pain at the incision and surgical site.

I am very hopeful and positive I will properly heal this time.
