Moin, wir suchen noch weitere Leute hier in Halle die Bock auf regelmäßig kicken haben. Bisher sind wir 10 Leute zwischen Anfang 20 und Ende 30. Niveau irgendwo zwischen absolut bodenlos und Bezirksliga.

Also keine Hemmungen und ziemlich entspannt.

Gibt es hier Leute die Bock auf gelegentlich entspanntes feierabendkicken aufm bolzplatz haben?

Be it here or in EAFC or any other UFL or somewhat footballgame related subreddit, everywhere I keep reading and also thinking myself that we are in desperate need of a soccer game that does not incite in game shopping or e-sports like minmaxing of some more or less broken mechanics as a meta.

I think at least those of us that agree on some of these points are not out to play another arcade Dribbling Flipper that clearly simps at that 12 year old me who thought that the likes of ronaldinho or neymar were the peek of what football is.

Now I and my somewhere around 20 to 40 year old peers keep Posting about how we would love a game that actually is a good and true Rendition of THE GAME. I watched loads of the current WC and always found me loathing playing EAFC just to get that feeling of any of those actual matches. For in any actual Match any well played attack is hard earned by outplaying an often rigid and most times resilient defence. I wanted to play like cap Verde, just getting that feeling of shieldwalling your goal as a Team in a pure act of Will. I wanted to just slam any Messi wannabe 12yo trying to just fidget Spinning around my 6feet defender with a well timed tackling or body check.

However, as you all know, nothing of that would happen, bc all current football games have become mere caricatures of what makes the game THE GAME, what makes not only players like Messi, Mbappe and Yamal but also Rodri, Kroos or Maldini all time greats. All current games can only by mere lack of Balance depict the outlandish skill of the former, none come even close to make clear how the latter could actually control a whole Match.

Publishers do not understand the game. Even if they did, we all know they would not make a proper game of it bc of money reasons.

And now that EAFC makes a shitload of that money out of FUT with many people complaining about it all the time I do not see why we should not just take our money out of that and put in on another track.

Why can we not by crowdfunding all these Millions publish our own game? Why would we not say: these are the terms for you as developers to get our money and make an actual football game? EA made around 4 Billion Dollars with its ultimate Team modes across the Boards. Developing a New AAA soccer game would cost around 70million. Why can we not just collect that? Why not just put your 40dollars into a crowdfunding campaign next time when you were originally out to sink it into some slightly Upgrade Version of a random football Player just to be able to compete with that other guy 400miles away who just like you does not really enjoy the game but only (and be it only the prospect of) Winning? Why can we not unionize against that and for an alternative in which there is at least the Prospect of actually enjoying the game?

And to my mind it wouldnt even need to be AAA. Just let me have a game that is built around skill, Timing, teamplay, vision or all in all an understanding of the actual game and why we actually enjoy it in the Real life. Make a game for those who want to play a game that feels like actual football. I dont even need a Stadium for that. Make it on any random neighboorhood football pitch. Only give me the feeling I am playing the game and not what a 12yo thinks the game is.

Make it slow. Make it hard. Make it unforgiving. Make it rewarding for these moments on the pitch when your Team clicks and and speed and resolve revolve around the teams interplay. Make it not rewarding for me or anybody to give you extra money for some refined stats or shiny cards.

I want to play football. Even when its dark outside or I am too old or lack the friends to bring it to the Real pitch.

I want to stop caring about whether I win or Lose the next match. I want to enjoy the game. Just give me the feeling of the Real Game.

I want us players to stop complaining and finally do something about it.

Im ersten Teil von Faust meint Mephisto zu Gott über die angeblich göttliche Gabe, die den Menschen besonders mache und aus dem Tierreich hervorhebe: "Er nennt's Vernunft und brauchts allein nur tierischer als jedes Tier zu sein."

Damals in der 10. Klasse war ich richtig geflashed davon, weil ich dachte das trifft den Nagel auf den Kopf.

Heute bedaure ich das sehr, weil ich eigentlich auch immer glauben wollte, dass so Argumente was zählen und einen eigenen Wert haben und Leute sich so habermasianisch vom besseren Argument überzeugen lassen würden. So sehr, dass ich einen Philosophie Abschluss gemacht hab.

Ich habe in meinem Leben noch niemanden getroffen, der oder die sich wirklich von schlagenden Argumenten haben überzeugen lassen. Sicher gab es hier und da mal Leute, die einem Argument Recht gegeben haben, aber das hatte praktisch keine oder zumindest keine nachhaltigen praktischen und letztlich auch keine kognitiven Konsequenzen.

Und dann denke ich eben immer an diese zwei Verse von diesem alten Sack, ders halt schon verstanden hatte. Argumente haben de facto nur so viel Wert, wie sie unseren eigenen praktischen Standpunkt in der Welt abbilden und rechtfertigen.

Darum macht es im Grunde keinen Sinn, mit Leuten zu diskutieren, die anderer Meinung als wir sind, solang diese Meinung irgendwie davon handelt, wie wir leben und gedeihen wollen. Denn wo bleibe ich denn, wenn ich meinen praktischen Standpunkt in der Welt einfach aufgebe?

Dass es in all diesen entsprechenden Debatten immer oder immer auch um Emotionen geht, beweist das für mich insofern, wie Emotionen eben von unseren Wünschen, Hoffnungen, Bedürfnissen und vor allem Werten Handeln. Und Werte lernt man durch Erfahrung, nicht durch Überzeugung. Darum ziehen so viele Leute einzelanekdoten auch Statistiken epistemisch vor. Die Anekdote lässt dich aus der vermeintlichen Erfahrung anderer lernen, so wie ein roman oder eine novelle die erfahrung aus einer perspektive abbildet die wir einnehmen und nachvollziehen können. Die Statistik bildet einfach nur unvorstellbare globale Verhältnisse aus keiner vorstellbaren Perspektive ab.

Und wenn ich darüber nachdenke, mache ich es ja genauso. Ich bin ein Schlafschaf. Hear me bloar.
