Where do I go from here?

Where do I go from here?

I updated/replaced my windows last year. We finally finished our backyard with a pergola and new concrete. The exterior looks meh.. but I have no clue where to go from here. We usually tackle one project a year and this year we would like to update exterior. I’ve use AI, but we have not come up with directions. What would you suggest?

Would you guys like the OG Fold form factor to return?

I hate how the Samsung is getting soo much attention with the form factor of the new Fold. Pixel did it first and then changed to the form factor we know now. Am I the only one who wants that form factor with the upcoming releases?

I want to share, but I am not sure why I am not able

I truly want to share my collection of files but I can not figure out how or why I can’t. A few users have banned me for no reason and the only reason I think it’s happening is due to my sharing not being setup correctly.

I am very new to SS and I found N+ as it seems an easier to understand interface. I check the setting and it’s telling me that the port is blocked and it needs to be open. My current set up:

Mac OS
N plus

ALAC > Convert Higher Rate Files

I've taken the time to convert my FLAC files in my Home Server to ALAC to store them in my external hard drive for my desktop and having "Apple Music" keep the files organize to transfer them into my iPod. I have 2 iPods Classics (80gb and 1 TB) I transfer all my ALAC files into the 1 TB iPod with no issue and maintains all the tags and album artwork, but when I transfer some files into the 80gb and use the convert higher bit rate songs to 256, all my tags and artwork disappear. Am I doing something wrong? Doest the convert create a whole separate file in my hard drive?

Upgraded to M5, now what?

I have a Mid 2012 Retina display with 8gb or ram and 256 ssd. Upgraded to an M5 after almost 15 yrs.. The M5 is an amazing piece of tech, but what can I do with my old Intel Mac? Still running with Opencore, but extremely choppy.

If I was to buy the MacBook and Surface on the same ticket and returning the Surface (unopened) will the system allow the 24 months to stick to the MacBook? Will there be a fee on returning the Surface?

Renewal takes place 6/7.. I don’t want the card anymore

I have the card and I don’t like it anymore because it has become a coupon book. I have points and a balance that I can’t pay off until later this year. I have Freedom, Freedom Unlimited and Slate.

Can I transfer the balance to the Freedom or Freedom Unlimited? Is the only way out of Reserve will be Preferred?

2026 Albums Releases??

I’ve been looking for an album from a new artist and I can’t seem to find it anywhere other than streaming platforms. When an album from an “unpopular for the masses” artist drops… how do these albums ever get expose to this platform?

Spring Cleaning = Memories

While doing some spring cleaning, I found a box that has been packed for over 15 yrs... Inside , I found my college hard drives... Going through it I found lots of memories, nostalgia and this Alkaline Trio video that I had to share... I know there will be more videos soon

My Next Step Advice

Ever since the end of Covid, I’ve gone from making $50k to $150k by jumping around every year in smb sales and recently (2 yrs ago) jumped into Fintech as an AM. I am happy where I am at the moment because I’ve been building and growing my territory in where I’m comfortably working short days (still a grind tho) but I’m noticing a trend in the company that they are wanting to pay less commish because they are shrinking, but my territory isn’t… that being said…. I was approached by this well known company that provides delivery services.. the base and commish potential will take me to a higher payout… that being said I’m a bit confused as I have never in my professional career had to choose from multiple 6 figure salaries. What would you do:

Job A: $80k base OTE $175k (in reality it has been $150k and it has been decreasing YoY). Frequent travel with 1 or 2 overnights. Sort of layback, but very dependent of Macro economy.

Job B (new opportunity): Base $95k OTE: they claim uncapped , but research shows approx $175k. Will requiere more travel with 4 overnights a month 2 WFH a week. Most of the complaints found online were the constant travel.

Which one would you take?
