Help me find new music

I want to listen to more underground music but everything that I try to listen to is either too experimental (guitar feedback for like 6 minutes) or too basic and boring. I want to listen to something in the middle. Example: sonic youth, unwound, midori, blacklisters, slint, silverchairs later stuff, cibo matto. It doesn't have to necessarily be rock music, just something that sort of escapes the norm (uses weird chords and unconventional melodies) that still makes sense and has a good song structure. Am I too picky? Please help me out people

Piano chorus

So pianos have 3 strings per key right? If you were to detune one of the strings slightly of every key, could you get a natural chorus effect like in a 12 string guitar. And if so could anyone recommend me videos or performances of it

Silverchair and Elliott Smith

So there's this Elliott Smith song called everything means nothing to me and the piano is absolutely ethereal. I find it very similar the way Daniel johns from silverchair plays it on emotion sickness, after all these years, etc. Anyone knows more songs like this that have this same piano style?

Does this sound like BPD?

I'm 16 and for the past year or so, I have experienced these crazy abrupt changes in mood. It's usually when I feel left out or abandoned even if for a second, I get this horrible feeling in my stomach and then I just shut down. I can't even pretend to be happy. Sometimes I can't even find a trigger. I looked up the usual symptoms for BPD, and checked out nearly all of them. Except for the aggressiveness. I don't have that. But the fear of abandonment, the low self esteem, it's all there. Maybe it's just teenage hormones or whatever but idk. There was also this girl that I had a weird and rocky relationship with, and anytime that her attention wasn't on me, I would just feel bad. I was aware that that's awfully bad, I can't have a person just for myself but I couldn't control it. As I said, I don't get mad or aggressive, so I never lashed out on her or got mad her or anything but still, just feeling that I know it's wrong. I'm not one to self diagnose myself but if anyone out there knows more about BPD then I do then please tell me about it

Doubler pedal

Is there a pedal that makes you guitar sound like it's double tracked? Like it's 2 guitars playing the same thing simultaneously, except without that phaser kind of sound? If anyone knows please help me out

Edit: sorta like that dimebag sound yk? Nice and chunky but without the flanger/phaser situation I have a line 6 m13 and in it, there's this pitch shifter thing, and if you set the shift to 0 and the mix in the middle it sound a bit like it, but it sounds too chorus-ish
