(posting this to foster speculation) What actually are biometals?

Like we know that they contain the consciousness and data of certain characters, but other than that, what are they?

Are they complicated machines or just solid metal?

The bio in their name would seem to imply that they relate to biology in some way shape or form, like yeah, they can fuse with biological beings, but they can also fuse with reploids so what actually makes them bio-metals outside of that?
Do they contain biological matter?

How do you make a biometal?

Why can they fuse with other beings?

I think adding something similar to the super worlds in Mario Maker 2 would be cool

Of course not exactly like super worlds since MM games don't function like that, except for the castle levels, but you know, I think it would be cool to have something where you can basically make a whole Mega Man game in MMM.

People misunderstand Shinji soooooo much.

I often hear people say Shinji is cowardly, and while I don't entirely disagree with that, people tend to completely misunderstand in what ways Shinji is cowardly.

He's not cowardly when it comes to fighting giant eldritch monsters, in fact, he's quite brave when it comes to that.
He's cowardly when it comes to forming relationships, he's afraid of being hurt by other people so he runs away from them, but for some reason I so frequently see people act like he never gets anything done.

In fact the only times we see Shinji reluctant to pilot an eva are:

  1. When he had just started and barely had any experience.
  2. After his eva almost killed his friend.
  3. After he killed the only person who he felt truly loved him, and masturbated over his comatose friend.

Most of the time when we see Shinji not "getting in the robot" it's usually after something legitimately traumatic and that would make most people reluctant to pilot again.

Layer's design is good imo

I often hear people say Layer's design is bad because it's oversexualized, but I unironically think that the people who designed her, intentionally or not, made a genuinely aesthetically appealing design.

The way the more beige aspects of her color scheme are incorporated look good, and also are quite unique for a Mega Man character as well as giving her design a somewhat classy feel.

As for the underboob, while it doesn't necessarily say much about her character, I think it adds a nice flair to her design.

The thing is, a lot of redesigns for her that try to desexualize tend to make the design less interesting and less unique. imo

Honestly my favorite redesigns for her aren't the ones that try to "cover her up", but instead are the ones that embrace her design as it is.
I like it when she's given more of a brown color to her color scheme, and I also really like what they did in the X DiVE artwork of her where they gave the connective arts of her body more of a bronze look.
