91st day is almost here!

Hey folks, my 91st day is almost here and I wanted to do both, apply for a new CC and an increase on my limit.

My question is, what one do I do first?

What are my chances at getting a second card? Can I go for the flagship or platinum? If denied can I instantly try for another or do I need to wait another 91?

Transunion: just hit 671 fico 8

Income: 140k direct deposit with nfcu

History: brand new nearly at 91days

Existing credit:

Cap one auto loan, balance of 2k. Might pay it off next month

Nfcu cash rewards unsecured 500

Help with my scire

Hey folks, I am currently in a rebuild and trying here. Experian fico is 606

I don't have collections, as I did some pfds. However I have two charge offs from the original creditor that still show a balance.

1 unsecured nfcu cc at 500

1 auto loan with a balance of 2700, lots of latest on that and I know that's what's tanking my score. I've tried several Goodwill letters. They have called me and said give them 48 hours and then they deny it (Capital One)

My question is what can I do to boost my score now? Is it just a matter of waiting? Will paying the chargeoffs help?

91 day rule

Quick question, I'll be at 91 days next month and I want to try for a CLI and a new card but I was wondering.

  1. Can I go for a higher limit then 3x? If my starting limit was pretty low or no?

  2. For the new card, how often are folks approved? Is it typically higher than their initial cards starting limit?

Doorbell help

Hello I want to install a ring doorbell but I need to fix my situation first!

This hasn't worked since I moved in so bare with me as I explain what's going on with my doorbell. It's not a smart bell or anything just a standard button

New transformer 16v 10VA

New chime box(Mechanical), the chime box has four wires coming from the wall, two sheaths red and white in each. The doorbell button has a very small black and white wire attached, I was told that the bell itself is going straight to the chime box not to the transformer downstairs.

My issue is I don't see any wire as small as the doorbell wire in the chime box ( see photos) so when everything is hooked up, door bell wires disconnected and not touching I get a constant buzz! It dings once and holds the ding.

The existing setup has the two white wires connected with a wire nut and a jumper cable coming from that nut, all three cables were on the chime terminals. I can't say if it worked or not because it's never worked since I moved here, when talking to the LL he said it use to work and he hasn't changed anything. Knowing what I've told you guys look at the photo and lmk if there's anything I can do.

I am aware, at the transformer I should have one wire going to chime and one wire going to the doorbell, however from what I was told the doorbell wires are going straight to the chime in this house.

Last bit of info, when I touch one red with a certain white I do get power, verified that with my gauge. So I thought maybe wire nut those ones together and connect the remaining two wires. No dice!
