Hi everyone. I’d like to hear from people who have been in a similar situation.
I have mild distal colitis/proctitis. At the moment I’m doing quite well clinically: usually one bowel movement a day, no blood, and no major urgency. My latest fecal calprotectin was around 100.
I currently take 3 g oral mesalamine (Pentasa) daily and 1 g mesalamine suppository daily. Rectal mesalamine clearly works for me. In fact, I was doing very well for about four months using 500 mg suppositories every other day. When I tried reducing them further to once every three days, symptoms gradually started coming back, so I went back to daily rectal treatment and improved again.
My gastroenterologist recently told me that if at some point I get tired of having to use suppositories long term, biologic/advanced therapy could be an option. He wasn’t saying that I need biologics now — more that it could be considered in the future because of the impact of lifelong rectal treatment on quality of life.
That surprised me a little because my disease is relatively mild and mesalamine works. So I’m curious about people with proctitis or very limited UC specifically:
Did any of you move to a biologic or another advanced therapy mainly because you were dependent on rectal mesalamine? Did it allow you to stop suppositories completely? Was it worth it in terms of quality of life and side effects, or would you rather have stayed on suppositories if they were working?
I’m not looking to change treatment based on Reddit — I’m just interested in real-life experiences before I discuss it further with my gastroenterologist.

Hey guys, need some outside perspective on this because it’s been eating at me for a few days.
Been with my partner for 11 years, we have a daughter together. About a month ago I went out for a few afternoon drinks with a buddy (another dad from our kid’s school). Turns out while we were out, our wives went together to a cosmetic clinic. We put two and two together later because my friend’s wife showed up days later with obviously filled lips, and I spotted a clear bruise on my partner's temple/forehead. Asked her about it and she gave me this ridiculous story about hurting herself with tweezers plucking her eyebrows. It was obviously Botox, but she denied it completely.
Fast forward to today, exactly a month later, and another bruise pops up in the exact same spot. Pretty obvious it's the standard 3-4 week touch-up. On top of that I suspect she’s thinking about a boob job, following her friend's steps. My buddy's wife actually got implants recently and basically dropped the news on him a week before the surgery (their marriage is struggling badly btw, even though he's doing really well financially).
Honestly I don't care if she gets Botox or whatever with her own cash. What pisses me off is being lied to my face like I'm an idiot. Plus I cover pretty much all the main expenses at home (trips, house bills, daughter's stuff) while she keeps her money for her own things. Seeing this pattern in her friend group makes me feel like they're looking for outside validation while I passively finance everything.
How would you guys handle this without blowing up the relationship? Thanks.

Hi everyone,
Something strange happened with my Spotify Family plan and I’m wondering if anyone has seen this before.
I have a Family account in the Philippines with all 6 slots occupied. A few days ago I noticed that two members were no longer in the plan. Nobody removed them, and they both told me they didn’t leave it themselves.
The other four members are still there without any issues, and Spotify now shows that I have two free spots available.
I’m not sure what caused this. Has Spotify ever removed Family members automatically for anyone else? Were you able to add them back?
Just curious if this is a known issue or if there’s something I should check.

’m trying to imbue a weapon with electricity/lightning, but I’m completely lost with the gem system.

I only found one lightning/electric gem so far, and I have no idea where to reliably get more.

Is there a specific area, dungeon, biome, enemy, merchant, or farming route where these gems are more common?

I’ve been searching everywhere and feel like I’m missing something obvious.

Any tips for farming electric/lightning gems early or mid game would really help.

Today on Teams I could hear the other person and they could see me, but my screen was black and I couldn’t see either my camera preview or their video.

FaceTime works fine and the camera works normally on my MacBook Air 2025. Teams on iPhone also works.

I restarted Teams, restarted the MacBook and it was still happening.

Has anyone had this problem recently on Mac?

Hi everyone,

My girlfriend drives a Tesla Model Y and parks daily in a very crowded work parking lot. Recently, her car has been scratched a couple of times.

The frustrating part is that Sentry Mode didn’t record anything in those moments.

Is it normal that light scratches or slow parking bumps are not detected? Or could there be something wrong with the setup (USB, sensitivity, angles, etc.)?

Would appreciate hearing your experiences.
