Finally got done with Mass Effect 2 and completed the Shadow Broker DLC after the suicide mission. Normally, I’d be happy because I love the Shadow Broker DLC because it’s the only significant amount of time I get to spend my hot, lovable, Asari girlfriend in that game, which I normally do after the collector ship. But now I feel like I got cheated.

“Do that AFTER the suicide mission” everyone says. “It’s better after the suicide mission” They said. But no, there’s no difference! Hell, Liara acts like I still haven’t done the suicide mission yet after we kill the Shadow Broker. And if someone gives a “valid” explanation as to why most people do this, I’m gonna be furious because I don’t want one. I played it after beating the game, and nothing changed, so don’t give me a reason, I don’t want one, I just enjoy ranting.

Fuck this!

Back in 2020 before Legendary Edition was announced, I was doing my first playthrough of the OG trilogy and it’s probably the one game where I regretted going in completely blind. I didn’t know how paramount the Normandy ship upgrades were, I thought the loyalty missions were all just unimportant side quests, and I pretty much coasted my way through the game. Because of this, almost everyone my squad ended up dying. The only ones who survived were Miranda, Garrus, and Legion. The only loyalty missions I did at the time was Miranda, Garrus, Tali, Samara, Grunt, and Jack. I was just lucky that the rest of the crew (Kelly, Chakwas, Daniels, Donnelly, all those people) got out okay.

There is a reason why you have to find out before you fuck around.

Now I’m older, and wiser. The only character I intentionally axe off is Jacob, because let’s be honest, who gives a fuck about Jacob?

I just replayed DMC4 for the first time in a hot ass minute and I think I was b***h slapped with the Mandela Effect, because like in DMC5, I always thought SSS stood for Smokin’ Sexy Style. But when I played it yesterday, it said “Smokin’ Sick Style”

Am I the only one who’s tweaking or did anyone else get dazed like this also?

For me, it’s Red Dead Redemption. I did play RDR1, I see the appeal, I get why everybody fucks hard with these games, but the whole cowboy western aesthetic was never really my thing personally. Unless you’re Erron Black from Mortal Kombat, I’m not gonna get hyper fixated on this.

Some people like to do LotSB after the suicide mission, but I personally like to do it right after the disabled collector’s ship.

Can someone explain why it’s best done after the suicide mission? Because I never fully understood that. I tried it, but nothing was different, at least not that I remember.

Continuing my research on Gears of War before writing my story (I settled on having it take place 3 months after the Anvil Gate book (which I’ll read when I get the chance)), but when I googled how many months are in a year on Sera, I found two sources that contradict each other, one saying 12, the other saying 14, but I have no way of figuring out which one is true. I’m more inclined to believe the 12 month source because the latter misspelt 11th and 12th. I already figured out that Sera is larger than Earth, so the days are longer with a 26 hour cycle, 30-38 in a month, and 420-460 days in a year with the names of the days of the week being unknown to this day (as far as I’ve been able to find)

Still working out the plot of the story though. Also need to work out which members of Delta Squad are gonna be present. Obviously Marcus has to be there because he leads Delta Squad, Sam has to be there because she’s gonna be the main character, and Dom has to be there because Sam develops feelings for him during the books and the first third of Gears 3. I just don’t know who else should be in the squad for this story, or if necessary, how I’m gonna include more than 4 people. (Sorry, ADHD went crazy lol)

So I want to write a Gears of War story where Samantha is the main character, but I haven’t played the games in a long time and I don’t have Game Pass, any of the games, or even an Xbox to help refresh my memory.

I remember Sam being my favorite character in Gears 3, so I’m already motivated to give the character some love, but all I could find about her kinda felt like the tip of the iceberg. Yeah, she was in some of the books, but I didn’t read those, so I skipped over anything on those to avoid spoilers. Basically all I know is that her dad died at the battle of Anvil Gate before she born, she’s a tattoo artist (shout out to all the tattoo artists on here), and that she hates serving food.

Concepts and ideas for a story would be cool too. All I could come up with is a revenge story where Sam tries to kill the Locust that killed her dad, but I’m not too confident in that idea because:

A) As of right now, it’s not a strong enough concept because that’s been done to death

B) It doesn’t really make sense, because Sam wouldn’t know what the Locust would look like, nor would her mother since (I think) she already evacuated from Anvil Gate when Papa Byrne died

I’m trying to use cheats in Parasite Eve II and none of them, except the 90 inventory slot cheat, is working. I’m using the Retroarch emulator. What do I have to do to make the cheats work?

For those of you who live under a rock, an SCP is basically an unexplained anomaly from an alternate universe that this organization called the SCP Foundation has to capture, contain, study, and stop from causing cosmic destruction (at least to my understanding anyway).

And AM is a robot that was created for warfare, but he became sentient, gained God-like powers, killed all of humanity except for 5 people, and turned one of those people into a goddamn jelly slug that can barely even be recognized as human. And it’s never explained how AM got these powers or how they work either. So would AM technically be considered an SCP anomaly?

So let me get this straight… my reward for beating the Chrysler Building is that I don’t get to keep my gear, EX game is gone, I don’t get to complete the main story with Melissa Pearce, and I basically lose all of my data and have start all over from the ground up?

That’s a load of bullshit! Give me back my stuff!

I’m trying to run a game called I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream (based on a short story of the same name). Since it’s an MS-DOS game, I figured it would work with the DOSBox-Pure emulator — but it didn’t. So I googled what the game WOULD work with, and people pointed to the ScummVM emulator, but that didn’t work either. So what am I supposed to do to get the game going?

I have no idea what I’m doing with multi-disc games. Is it like Gamma where I have to import my save file from one disc to another, or is it more complex than that? Because every time I look up how to disc swap on Retroarch and someone explains it to me, I just lose track and Idk what they’re talking about. Does anyone have a more simple method of doing this, like how Gamma Emulator has? (Only reason I’m not using that emulator is because my Bluetooth keyboard isn’t working with that for some reason… I play on an iPad.)

I heard that you could play PS1 games on the PPSSPP, and my Bluetooth keyboard just suddenly stopped working with the Gamma emulator (idk why), so I was wondering if it’s possible to play PS1 games on the PPSSPP emulator.
