Listening to it for the first time. Honestly, how is this not considered "ratting"? He's just spilling the tea and talking directly about the mob while naming names. Merlino will drop names and maybe talk about the occasional crime in which the case is long since closed, but he overall avoids talking about the life and even denies the existence of it (tells PBD he's never even heard of the mob. Lol).

I don't believe podcasters like Burnstein's claims that active guys are mad at Joey because, again, I don't think Joey is a threat with the way he keeps the life close to the vest and rarely leaks stories about active guys, but sheesh, there has to be some nerves rattled by what Pitera's doing. He makes Henry Hill seem shy.

Our network and online service system was slowed to a crawl all day, and I heard it was yesterday too (I was out, attended the rally). The last time our network was this slow for more than a couple of hours or so was in 2020, when everyone started teleworking and the high traffic overwhelmed the VPN. It took them a couple of months to fix that. I'm wondering if this 30 day RTO notice didn't give our IT staff enough time to make sure the network could handle such a sudden increase in usage in office. They tried to sugar coat with an all-staff email citing a recent update but we always have updates and it never slows the network for this long.
