Anyone have the Baldr S? Are you having to use loctite to keep the laser at proper zero?

Just put on Baldr S on XD Mod 4 and only way it would fit was using the Glock Rail attachment rather than the 1913 PIC rail attachment. Anyone have same experience?

Who has one? How do you store it? Anyone store it with chambered round. Thinking about making that my home defense instead of Mossberg 590. Less over all risks. Took it out to range today and unsure why I don't take it out more. Its a lot of fun to shoot and with TLR zeroed wasnt even looking at sights. Extremely accurate.

I kinda prefer the FPC for home defense over my Mossberg 590. I keep a bedside Xd Mod 4 to be able to get to the cabinet if needed though we have a 3 story townhome with motion detectors. So doubt any intruder would make it up to 3rd floor before i could get to cabinet. Literally right next to my bed. How do you store it though?

I only shot 10 rounds of slugs today. It was cleaned and lubed the other day. Is it really necessary to clean or re lube after only 10 rounds? It's stored in a safe with two dehumidifiers.

What tools are needed to take the 590 Heatshield off to at least be able to lift it up to clean underneath the shield? It's got a little excess oil and a little pet hair under it on the barrel. Trying to prevent rust or problems. Are there others ways to do this also?

What Holsters are compatible with the Xd Mod 4? Prefer leather or hybrid but I can't find any. Any help would be great.
