I've had this hooked up multiple times. Best it does is 8-12 hours with no issues, then the internet drops. I notice that it gets a bit warm.
I've reset the router, reset my cable modem, same results. Tether app says the firmware is up to date.
It's currently boxed up for return unless someone here has a solution.
Moved from a Linksys router to a TP Link router. I found my pi hole ip and entered it into the primary DNS field. Rebooted router. Still seeing ads, and cannot log into web interface.

Fully charged battery. I plug in the battery, nothing happens. No lights, no sound.
Held in the sync button for 10 seconds, no change.

MR8300 router received a wifi update yesterday and since then, things seem slower. I've already restarted the modem and router but still seems off.
