I know the pictures aren’t the best but I’ve got the turntable going to the pre amp and the pre amp going to the active speaker, I have the ground connected between the turntable and pre amp, I have the speaker connected to each other and they where on. But no sound and I don’t much about speakers. Thank you!

I know there are a lot of posts similar to this but I’d like some opinions. I know I want to adopt an older cat and I’ve done proper research. The things I’m worried about is I work night shift, 10 hour shifts, 4:30 to 3am and get home around 3:30. Im worried the lengthy time away and be a problem for the first week or two. The positives I see tho I can quickly make a routine with feeding and play times before I leave and when I get home and I live alone so it’ll be nice and quiet for the cat to explore while I’m gone. Thank you for any help
