1 Year Of Couch Tour For About The Price Of 1 In Person Show?!

Um, this was a no brainer.

The fact that I average about a half dozen Webcasts a year, $149.99 for all of Summer Tour, plus a possible Fall Tour, a NYE Run, a Mexico Run and maybe some Spring 2027 Shows, this is the best deal in all of the Music Industry!

May Jah And Science Bless CouchTour!

Phish, You Rule, Thank You So Much!!

Saw 3 different shows on June 5th, 1993, 2005 & 2009

1993: Grateful Dead at Giants Stadium w/Sting opening.

2005: Pixies at Red Rocks w/Violent Femmes and The Bellrays opening.

2009: Phish at Jones Beach Amphitheatre. No opener. Steady rain entire show.

My favorite? Pixies. Recently reunited, Kim Deal was the MVP, perfect setlist. Not a dud, dance spot secured right next to the FOH Sound Engineer. A perfect performance and night.

2nd place: Phish. Also recently reunited, in fact the 6th show of 2009. Elements added a perfect sense of “Phishery” to the energy of the performance. I also had front row dance spot of the upper balcony of the venue. Had a poncho, didn’t care that my feet were soaked in my Chuck Taylors all night. Still Danced Hard.

3rd place: The Grateful Dead. Unfortunately it was 1993 GD, and their end was near. I remember Sting’s King Of Pain killing it on the cool wet early June evening. “There’s a flag pole rag and the wind won’t stop” was appropriate and got some cheers from the half filled audience. GD highlights were the Scarlet > Fire and The Other One. Lowlight was the Cheezey Answers debut.

All and all, I feel blessed for my personal June 5th Concert History.

There really is a way to send a message to Cohen and Sterns.

STOP GOING TO CITI FIELD!

An empty stadium will hit them where it hurts most: their bottom line.

That is all. I just don’t understand why so many people love wasting their money.

We (mid 50s NYC couple) are landing at CDG on a Saturday morning at about 9:30. Each of us will have a backpack and a suitcase, each at about 21 kgs

Option 1 : Take RER B from CDG to Denfert-Rochereau and transfer to the Metro 6 towards Etoile. I’ve been reading that the transfer of RER B to the 6 is not so fun with luggage.

Option 2 : Take RER B to RER A at Les Halles, then the RER A , 2 stops to Etoile and transfer to the 6 to Pasteur. How are those 2 transfers (B to A at Les Halles & RER A to Metro 6 at Etoile) ?

From my research, while option 2 is slightly longer in time, the transfers with luggage might be easier.

What do you all you Paris locals and/or seasoned Paris visitors think?

Thanks in advance!

Friday night at 11 o’clock and I’m just discovering this for the first time. Holy smokes what a show! Good thing I live in The Bronx where it’s acceptable to listen to loud music at this hour 😉🤘🏼

Damn I miss FUGAZI so much!! Thank you unARTingNYC 🙏🏼
