Two Kawasaki KEs project

Howdy,

Recently stumbled upon a marketplace deal for two Kawasaki KEs (Red ones a 07/94 model

Yellow ones a 11/79 model)

I know nothing about these bikes, apart from their 2 strokes and their basic specifications.

From the seller, he said the gearboxes on both are good, the red one needs a clutch cable and the yellow one has mid compression. They'll obviously need the basic stuff aswell like a carb clean, fork seals, oil, fuel lines, etc.

I have a few questions, and would like some help.

- How much do they generally go for in the Australian market?

- Any specific things that i should look out for whilst working on it?

- Any cool things about them?

Im getting them both for 200 dollars, and yes, I know the yellow one may entail a top end rebuild, but im new to motorbikes and I think for 200 dollars its worth learning how to do it now than on a 1000 dollar one.

Parents are divorcing and im worried for my Dad

Hey yall,

my parents got divorced a few days ago, or are in the process of it, there isnt any hatred they just said it wasn't working, fair enough.

My dad is getting on in age, about 64 years old, and he isnt taking the house, hes letting mum keep everything. He gets his super soon obviously, and he said he'll use it to help us aswell, and he'll just buy a caravan to live his days out.

I dont fucking want my dad to be living in a caravan for the rest of his life. I recently got my L plates so I cant really do anything, but I want him to be happy, not just making sure were okay. His giving us all his stuff aswell, like his old mack trucks that are still running by the way, like, it just kills me about it.

Im so worried for him and I hate it, and its make me sick just writing it. That's my dad man. Does anyone have any clue what I can do? I dont know man im just fucking scared and worried.

First smoker build idea

Hey Yall, just looking for some people who can critique this, any questions or something just ask ill respond as quickly as I can.

For reference, I use Red River Gum and Iron Bark, and this is my first ever time trying to make my own, also read the Tweaks on the pages.

If you cant read my terrible handwriting, this is what it states:

- Baffle slopes at 20* for 200mm or until roughly 50mm gap from the grill

- Baffle angle down 3-5* for grease

Obviously I left alot out like doors, dampeners, grease taps, etc.

I will take any and all forms of criticism or tweaks!

Apologies if its shit.

Rugby Injury to the Head

Hey Yall, few hours ago I was playing rugby and I went into score a try and the defender, (full back i think), hit me in the head, he hit me just above my right eyebrow, I hit the side of his head. Now I got the better end of the stick, I got a thick head,

I broke open his head I think, and I got a concussion and three stitches on my forehead,

now, does anyone know how to have a shower/ wash your hair with stitches on your head?

Would really appreciate the help!

Hey,

New Ls Driver here.

Im in school right now, midway through term 2, recently 16, and im just really struggling right now and just need someone. for once.

Im in boarding school right now, 6 hours away from home, and its exhausting having to deal with a bunch of your mates in one building 24/7, not to mention the childhood I miss out on in general. So my problems are;

- Currently on Fluoxtine (Anti depressant) to try and stop me from attempting again as I have attempted three times beforehand. I believe its made me more agro which filters into my next problem

- im extremely short tempered, for example, this bloke was making fun of me for getting too much bacon in the buffet where we get our breakfast, I had 2 rashers, so I warned him if he kept talking id smack him, short story short, he kept talking.

- feel im missing out on my potential, im really good at SMAW, extremely athletic in the view of strength, previously the strongest 15 year old in Australia, although im now 16, and extremely competitive in rugby, and im trapped by this shitty Presbyterian boarding school

- the terrible teachers and rules that seem to be life or death for some reason. I got a detention and a meeting because I threatened to slap a kid because he kept making fun of me like im a punching bag. which honestly I can usually take but I used to get bullied a helluva lot.

I know it doesnt seem like alot but for one i dont have the energy to write more, because im really tired, but I also just feel so trapped, im clinically depressed and my parents wont listen to me and just ignore me now, and all I want to do is end of year 10 drop out, then just become a boilermaker and start making custom smokers, because I enjoy it so much.

Sorry if I seem like a pussy, its just really hard when your cut off from everything that you actually like. aka practical work, hands on work, personal time, quiet, work, sleep.

I just need help. please. i dont know what to do anymore, hell my parents are paying 50k a year and in the last year there has been maggots, hairs, and contact lenses in our food.

Help. please. I dunno how much longer I can do this.
