USA CE24 vs Core Custom24?

In terms of playability, quality, and basically playing them with eyes closed.

How much of a difference there is between both?

Lets put aside the obvious specs, bolt on vs set neck, maple neck vs mahogany neck, different top carve, different maple top width and different trem and block materials.

Also lets assume both have the 85/15 TCI pickups (i know CU24 now has the DMO, but for a long time they shared the same pickups)

Is there something about playing the CU24 that make you say, oh yeah I can notice that this is an upgrade vs the CE24.

Not saying the CE is the same as the Core or things like that, and I know how good and al the extra details the CU24 has, just wondering in strictly in a practical way. Like if there is something you are missing out with the Core CU24 vs the CE24.

Ive had Cores, S2, SE myself. currently have a CE24 from 2021, and I used to have a 2002 CE24. That many agree are better than the current CE24, but at least I personally prefer the current CE24 mainly cos of the neck. Has rounder edges, taller fret wire and is a chunkier and feels less wide neck. And overall dont think one was better than the other, both are great on their own.

So yeah, wonderng more cos the Cores Ive had has been older ones and other models.

Thanks!!

Sign of Affection - Personal Review

I personally thing is a good show overall, just it wasn't that enjoyable for me personally overall, and I don't either hate or like the characters, they are all good people actually, but for me just never trully got invested into them and found them overall not very interesting from a character point of view.

Itsuomi is like perfect in every way, and never felt like any kind of vulnerability, or something about liking or interacting wth Yuki. Always seemed like he was in control, and maybe I'm wrong but he liking yuki is fine, but sometimes gave me the vibe that he just found her interesting cos she is deaf, and that he should be able to take care of her, like some kind of condescending attitude overall. Maybe ovethinking, but overall since the character does everything good, there is nothing I look forward about him, like some learning, or development, or showing some emotion.

Yuki on the other part is really cute and adorable and very nice, but also Itsuomi always takes the lead and is who manages things, and she just overall follows. I do like her feeling embarrased on nervous about being with someone you like, cos that is the idea when you like and fall in love with someone, but besides that nothing stood out for me about her as a charcacter. Meaning little development. Also a big assymetry between both, and not because she is disable, again is like the guy is perfect and she kind of needed to be rescued by him in some sort of way.

Actually the childhood friend was the most interesting as a character, and was the element that for me made the show more interesting, but besides that characters felt plain to me, not very real. The childhood friend did feel more real in his flaws and how he developed.

It is a good feeling show and has very nice moments, yeah for sure, with that in mind is enjoyable.

I did find personally a bit like...ohh isnt that like too much invading space or something, when itsuomi like approached yuki but since she never mind then its ok, and the guy was suppose to live or be used to western culture, so that would make sense he thought maybe wasnt inappropiate or that could put the other person in an uncomfortable position.

I think that I like shows where characters learn, grow, develop, feel human, show emotions, nice interactions. Doesnt have to be complex either, but also there is a sense of progress too.

Like Smoking behnd the supermarket i Love it myself. Characters are so good, simple conversations, feels very cozy and nice overall, 2 people getting to know each other slowly, but sharing their loneliness, and is the little things that for them makes life worth it, or look forward to.

Still rate it 8.5/10. Visually is very good, it is a nice show, you feel good watching it. There is really nothing wrong with it, characters are good people. Many htings I mention is me being nitpicky. But I know some people loved it and is fine, will depend of what you expect and you look for as well. But in now way this is a bad show.

Let me know what you think of it, if you disagree with me, any opinions are more than welcomed. I do like to try to understand from others what is it that makes them like it a lot, maybe I'm missing something and can help to change my mind about it looking it under a new perspective.

I watched the Anime and read the Manga again and....

... damn it is even better than I remembered.

First 2 season are fantastic, the story constantly getting better.

But, is amazing how at the end of Season 2, it takes things to the next level, and it just keeps getting being peak after peak.

After Season 2 and to the end, I did think it was the best part of the story, but going into it again it is even better than I remembered.

Really so fantastic how all the growth and relationship of both really absolute shines and is clearly shown. Plus the comedy is always present through all the story, and is always superb.

What sucks is that if season 3 existed, there would be so much more talk on this show overall. First 2 seasons are great, dont get me wrong, but what makes Nagatoro an absolute peak in my opinion is the last stretch of the story, after Season 2.

Is a bit like Dangers in my heart (my #1 rom, Nagatoro being very close #2), in that first episode is a but weird, Season 1 is great, but Season 2 is when you say omg this is an absolute masterpiece. On Nagatoro I think Season 3 that would have done that.

Just sharing some thoughts here and curious of what you think. All good if you don't agree, but I still have a tiny tiny bit of hope that Season 3 could be done.
