I know this is a very beloved console, so I want to ask this as respectfully as possible. I always thought there was a controller issue, but the problems persist even when using an Atari joystick. The control feels delayed and unresponsive. If this were a software issue, it would be the same in all games. So, what is it that makes the colecovision have such a distinctive "feel" in terms of control?

In "Two" (Season 3, episode 1), the beginning clearly states the signs are "... in English so that we may read them more easily..." So, when the female lead speaks Russian, it's an interesting choice. Are we, the audience, not to know it's Russian? Or is it intended to say Russian is adversarial to English even in that time / context? Gibberish could have worked just as well.

Did anyone else feel Sandra took the news a little too easily? She just walks off like "oh well... off to find someone my age..." On the other hand, she only spent one night with Commander Douglas. I'm undecided on her.

EDIT: It's a guided story experience. If you play it, I think it'll make sense why it's difficult to say what it is about. I think it would appeal to solo rpg players and journaling gamers.

In "The Most Toys" (TNG s3e22), the collector has something valuable from every time period. Silly question: What would be from our time (let's say the last 100 years)?

Let's be real: almost every main character in TNG has questionable holodeck ethics. Not just Lt. Barclay! Worf spends his free time brutally killing! Geordi is a creep with Dr. Leah Brahms.

But do ethics apply in another's imagination? ...and isn't the holodeck just a high-tech extension of imagination?

In Chinese culture, when someone asks another person for their WeChat contact, who is expected to scan? The person who asked, or the person being asked? Does gender play a role (for example, does the guy always scan the girl's QR code)?

Only counting the One-and-Done species, my favorite is the Sheliak. Antedians are a close second.

I like the Tholians and Pakleds too, but I think they got additional appearances in later series.

I'm worried popularity will bring what feels to me like ensh*tification in future models: browsers, music players, social media, storefronts, etc. 3rd party software lock out.

Looking at the changes from the X4 to X3, I am not sure what direction the product design is moving. Honestly, I think a backlight is overkill.

It's so cheap, but buying now feels material wasteful. The next version may have better software, more durable construction, etc.

In Star Trek: TNG, what is the established Line of Succession for command of the Enterprise (star characters)? I believe it is Picard > Riker > Data > La Forge > Worf > Crusher? > Troi? ...

EDIT: to clarify, I am asking about "line of succession", not "chain of command"... Our main characters are often together on away teams (and could all die like Lt. Yar).
