Any shooters in the group using their IEMs with dense memory foam tips as mild hearing protection while at the outdoor range? I shoot in a trap league and have been using my IE200s as my hearing protection. Shotguns aren't super loud so it's good enough for me.

Edit to clarify. I'm using shooting protection rated foam plugs that came off a long since broken pair of Bluetooth shooting plugs.

I work from home in our basement and have for years, used the live video section of the ADT control website to monitor our dog when she is outside in our backyard. I have halfheartedly looked in the past but have never found a way around the 3 minute video timeout that causes you to have to refresh every 3 minutes. It finally struck a nerve today and I am determined to find a way around it.

I can't find a setting in the website that disables it. I assume it has an IP address on my network here at home. Is there a way I can remote directly into it to bypass the site and watch it without having to refresh it constantly?

I'm looking for a kadet max 15L and I've seen some cool colorways I like on the internet but none seem available on the website so I'm curious where I might be able to source additional colors or maybe lightly used resale bags. eBay is my go to usually but I didn't turn up many and they are all black.

So let’s say I live in the US and I have an Aussie buddy who is willing to buy and ship me a HHB25. Knowing full well the shipping would be expensive, what kinda hurtles might I face if we quietly shipped it into the country?

I Just got my Q11 ultra and the left half works without any issue, however the right half keeps losing the lighting setting I have selected. or falls out of sync. not really sure. turning the right half off and back on on its own works to get it working again but give it about 30 seconds and it stops lighting up again. typing still works however so its only the lighting. any suggestions?

Also any suggestions for replacement spacebars? I might just rock the setup I have on it because I like it so far.

Help. I took my 15 F31 328ix to a local independent bmw service guy who is a one man show. Car felt like it was missfiring and surges forward up my hill I live on at idle speed when cold. Occasionally feels like it's missfiring at speed but feels horribly stumbly and does not run smooth at all at idle on a cost start. Independent guy diagnosed it as a stretched timing chain and declined to take on the warranty work.
Now it's at Hendrick BMW south in KCMO. The service writer there was cool to begin with. Brought them the car and explained everything that was happening and also mentioned that the independent tech was able to hook it up to a scanner and watch the timing fluctuate back and forth while it was idling poorly, which told him that it was a timing chain issue. Service writer at BMW says "oh definitely it's the timing chain. We see these early 2015 cars do this all the time around this mileage (145xxx btw). No problem sounds like it was diagnosed correctly" calls me later that day after he himself drove it a sec and agreed that it did indeed have a stretched chain. Not enough to trigger lights and warnings yet but close.

Now is where I think they are lying to me. I say great I thought that was the case, now I have a 3rd party extended powertrain warranty that I have used on all of my previous cars because I am close family friends with the guy that is the president of MBPI warranties. They take excellent care of me and have done several thousand dollars worth of work to my cars in the past without hesitation or even as much as send someone out to verify a dealers claim for repairs. They just pay it and I go on.

The MOMENT I mentioned I had a warranty this guy changed his tune. Suddenly the cars chain is fine and he doesn't have any idea where I got the idea that it's faulty or stretched.
What do I do here? I bought this warranty for this express purpose knowing these timing chains sometimes die. Independent guy I know isn't lying to me because he's a close friend of mine. I get the feeling BMW doesn't want to take the warranty job because I know they don't pay as much.
How do I push back and get them to do the work I know the car needs and just deal with my warranty?
