Habol talaga natin yung mga generous sales associates sa mga shops. Swertihan na lang kung mapagbigyan ka, lalo na if you make requests or ask for samples.

Bumili kasi kami sa Dyptique, a bottle of hair mist lang kasi hindi pa makapag commit to a full-sized bottle.

Binigyan kami isang 2ml sample during purchase, which I think is just appropriate din. Kasi nga it's a small purchase lang naman.

Pero nagbaka sakali ako... and asked if we can have it in one of their bigger paper bags lol

I explained na super fan kasi kami ng Diptyque recently. If I had a larger paper bag, pede ko magamit regularly to carry stuff around.

Tsaka free advertising na rin yun for them diba, kasi visible yung logo nila habang bitbit ko yung bag.

That initial spray nakakagulat, lalo na kasi back then I’ve only ever had designer frags. Alam mo yung mga aquatic blue freshies na pa-safe, generic. The type that you can smell habang naglalakad ka sa SM.

Ay iba pala talaga pag quality natural ingredients. Ambango nung complexity. Ang cozy nung powdery notes, creamy woods, spices, tsaka ung incense… napaka addicting.

Pero nung nasabihan akong “Smells good, smells like you actually” gagi nainlababo ako.

Eto ba ung skin scent na sinasabi nila? Kasi oo nga hindi siya “beast mode”. People in your space could smell you, pero hindi ka maaamoy ng entire room.

As of now puro travel sizes kinuha ko kasi I want to re-apply throughout the day. I really wish Diptyque would release smaller sizes. Ang perfect kasi ng ganitong vials.

Nakapag Tam Dao ka na ba?

But I just can't imagine all those infected passengers on the cruise ship were lovers in a huge single polyamorous relationship together for them to spread it with each other.

They probably just were in a room sitting down and talking. Not even as a single group but several. And yet it spread to more than a dozen individuals just by them being there.

But the bigger issue is that we don't know enough, especially the infectious stage. CDC even said that one could be infectious BEFORE symptoms happen.

And what are the vague symptoms? Body ache and mild fever.

That's not even the kind of flu that would make you think of going to a doctor. That's just a cold that no one would even give a second thought.

... and once you have body ache and mild fever, you are given a 70-50% chance of not dying from it? AND you've become infectious?

I can't help but overreact on the side of caution with these in mind. And how we handled the 2020 pandemic acting as the precedent, it's not instilling confidence we'd be handling this right. Murphy's Law be damned.
