Thoughts after Denver test drive
Things I loved:
- The cabin was super spacious and so much better optimized for space over a Model Y despite having similar outer dimensions
- The seats were extremely comfortable. Enough support through turns.
- Overall the steering wheel is excellent but I have thoughts on the haptic scroll wheels(more on that below)
- Cabin noise on city streets was excellent and I didn’t feel the road as much as I expected
- It’s just a gorgeous looking car
Things I didn’t like:
- On to the scroll wheels - I might get crucified for this but I thought they were… okay? They work well while scrolling but pressing the button in and out wasn’t the best experience for me personally. Maybe something to get used to.
- There is no way around this but the speakers in this car are downright insulting at this price point imo. It sounded muddy no matter what I threw at it. Really bad.
- Despite the car looking well built, there was quite a bit of give when shutting the driver door that has me worried about the overall build quality
This car is going to sell incredibly well no matter what I think and I do think overall it’s a great car and worth the price considering everything you get.
