A bit ago I made a post about how awesome it is Convict Colosseum is rated so highly on Mangadex and in the time since then it as risen higher and has become the highest rated work with the self published tag on mangadex

not only that it has also risen above stuff like Mob Psycho 100, the One Punch Man webcomic and manga, and other massive works

and I just got to say again, it is incredible how high it is, and I believe it deserves every bit of it

Pinakanaka if you see this you made something fucking awesome man and you should be proud

All I did was search by highest rated and its on the 4th page, I think its awesome that it is that high and I think it fully deserves it

King (One Punch Man): Considered by the world of One Punch Man to be the strongest man alive and one of the greatest heroes in the world he is actually a huge coward who has only survived due to dumb luck and a certain caped baldy always coming to his rescue

Iruma Suzuki (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun): Iruma is a 14 year old boy who is so timid and shy that he cannot refuse a request even when its getting sold to a demon by his parents, luckily he was sold to a demon who just wanted a grandson to spoil and he is sent to a demon school where he fakes being a demon as he climbs the ranks of demon society and earns the trust and support of various powerful demons, even eventually being in the running to become the demon king

Kazuo Yamashita (Kengan Ashura) A middle aged business man who is suddenly dragged into the secret and violent world of Kengan matches, where the wealthy and powerful of the world stake their business ventures on bloody martial arts matches, thrust into this world Yamashita accidentally create the persona of a powerful and shrewd business man and eventually comes to inhabit that role in reality

I think its a clever way to both show the fighters reactions while also letting us know how capable they are by showing when they realized

Like those arena walls are about 20-30 feet tall and from the middle of the arena using just his arm strength GiaB launched himself to the top of it, that's absolutely insane

So awhile ago I tried to install a mod but it needed repentance to work, but I have a apple laptop so repentance doesn't work, and I don't know what I did exactly but now when ever I try to open the game it doesn't open and this pops up

... so help please?

Like in a weird way Pete is almost a perfect counter to EC

first of all a fighter would need extreme firepower and skill to even have a chance to take EC down and by focusing on exclusively his legs Pete has probably the strongest strikes in the series and he has plenty of skill to go with his strikes

Next a fighter would need to not have pre-initiative or at least not overly rely on it or be fazed if it suddenly stopped working, EC is effectively the ultimate pre-initiative counter with his silence, and Pete very explicitly doesn't have any from of pre-initiative but what he does have is extremely useful against EC

Pete's post-initiative is extremely good against EC especially due to his superhuman reaction time and his sheer speed allowing his to somewhat keep up with the dodges but even then no matter what some strikes are going to get through

And that's where Petes durability comes in and while his upper body durability is unimpressive his legs are practically indestructible and his reaction time and speed can allow him to block the strikes

Pete is practically a counter to EC which goes to show how insane the guy is with how messed up Pete was by the end of the fight, genuinely if Pete hadn't broken EC's arm before he went unconscious I think he would have lost

but im interested to hear some other thoughts to this, its just something that popped into my head

Would his survival instincts force him to use it to ensure that even old age won't kill him?

before I go further there is going to be major spoilers for Convict Colosseum, so if you like fighting manga I highly recommend you read CC its genuinely amazing, its all free on Mangadex and there's only one more chapter till its over

This is Pistol Foot Pete one of the top fighters in CC

his gimmick is that he only uses his legs, and he does so frighteningly well

to start he can kick so fast that he can block all the strikes from a barrage from a character who's entire thing is barrage attacks with one leg, and while not out right stated when he goes all out his kicks either get close to or surpass the speed of sound, going so fast that a character with superhuman vision who could react to and dodge gunfire couldn't see his kicks and the narrator even saying that it doesn't matter that his opponents eardrum was ruptured because Pete kicks faster than he can hear

and speaking of speed he is by far the fastest in the tournament able to cross the substantially sized area in seconds, dance around his opponents and also seemingly create a tornado by kicking up sand and running fast enough to create a vortex.

Now his durability is interesting because his legs are unbelievably durable able to take a full sustained barrage from a character who cracked a twenty foot concrete wall by head butting it, but that's just for his legs his upper body isn't nearly as conditioned and cannot take the hits that his legs can, so he either uses his legs to block or just dodges

Speaking of dodging he has a superhuman reaction time of 0.078 seconds and with his speed is really hard to catch off guard, he is also a master martial artist creating an entire style around just using legs and as said by the characters in the Colosseum its safe to say that if a technique uses legs he can do it

his kicks are strong enough to easily shatter concrete and he was able to beat the guy who shattered the 20 foot concrete wall with his head by kicking said guys head, he is also insanely accurate with his kicks able to kick his opponent who was hiding behind a referee

I should also clear up some stuff about the second slide about him kicking the bullets back, he wasn't actually kicking the bullets back he was just dodging gun fire form about twenty cartel members in the dark and using the flashes of light to kick up small rocks and the occasional bullet that was lodged in the sand and kicked them at them at the speed of a bullet

Now for some miscellaneous stuff, he can kick with both legs at the same time throwing one kick before the next reaches the ground again, he is able to use the perfect check which basically means that he can check a kick and cause his opponent to take more damage than than he does so you are not going to break his legs, and he is not afraid to fight dirty and has targeted an opponents already broken arm

so tl;dr he is an insanely fast fighter with insane legs and martial arts mastery

so im curious to see how he matches up to the insanity that is Baki's characters

I don't expect him to match up to the truly top tiers but I think he can get pretty far

and yes that's Literally Hitler

I mean between the plaid shirt, cowboy hat, and his long luscious locks of hair he would already be a hard character to animate

but then combine that with his insanely fast and acrobatic fighting style and it becomes hilariously how much of a nightmare he would be to animate

id do it but I can't draw for shit

for Thrag its gotta be El Cucaracho and the skull has got to be the Samoan with his tattoo on the cheek bone

Conquest gotta be Florida Man

and for the others I got nothing
