Building a fragrance collection in a subtropical climate

I’m starting a fragrance collection and currently only own Hectic.

One thing I’m struggling with is figuring out whether I even need a proper winter fragrance. I live in Brisbane, Australia, where winter can be quite cold in the morning but often warms up significantly during the day. We don’t really get the kind of sustained cold weather that a lot of North America and Europe does.

For those of you in warmer climates, did you find it worthwhile owning heavier winter fragrances, or did you mostly stick to versatile fragrances that work year-round?

If you were building a collection from scratch in a climate like this, what would your first few pickups be?

Just looking for suggestions and ideas on what types of fragrances make sense for this weather. I’m not planning to blind buy everything people mention.

Building my first proper collection for Brisbane weather – what would you change?

Been going down the fragrance rabbit hole lately and looking to build my first proper collection.
I live in Brisbane, so it’s pretty warm most of the year. Summer is usually around 30°C+, and winter is 10-25 degrees Celsius.

At the moment I only own Hectic by Bujairami.
After a heap of YouTube videos and Reddit posts, I’ve come up with two possible collections:

Option 1
Hectic by Bujairami
Afnan Turathi Blue
CDNIM Limited Edition
Khamrah Qahwa
Asad Bourbon

Option 2
Hectic by Bujairami
Afnan Turathi Blue
CDNIM Limited Edition
Khamrah Qahwa
Hawas Ice

My thinking was:
Hectic = daily/work
Turathi Blue = fresh summer scent
CDNIM = compliment getter
Khamrah Qahwa = date nights
Asad Bourbon or Hawas Ice depending on whether Brisbane weather justifies having a cooler-weather scent

Problem is, I’m pretty new to fragrances and don’t really know if I’m building a collection with too much overlap or if I’m missing something obvious.

Anything you would change?
Thanks in advance

Looking for more edge of your seat thrillers

Just watched Breakdown (1997) and that movie had me hooked the whole time. Looking for more thrillers that keep the tension up the entire movie. Any recommendations? Some other films I really enjoyed,

Prisoners
Night crawler
The invitation

Could name a lot more but those 3 in particular I really enjoyed,

Thanks in advance.

Best Michael Jackson movie/documentary/series.

Just finished watching Michael and honestly loved it but that was my first ever movie watching something on him. Recommend me the best movies or documentaries or tv shows or whatever on Michael Jackson please.

Thanks in advance.

Best Movies/Documentaries/Series on Michael?

Just finished “Michael” and wow, absolutely amazing movie. However it was the first film I’ve ever watched on him. I’m looking for some of the other best movies or documentaries on his life. Doesn’t matter the topic.

Thanks in advance!

Trying to decide what to play next and I’ve hit full decision paralysis.

Current list:

• Dave the Diver
• Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
• Marvel’s Midnight Suns
• Returnal
• Silent Hill 2
• RoboCop: Rogue City
• Subnautica
• Dredge
• Pacific Drive
• Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
• Final Fantasy XVI
• Spider-Man
• Hitman
• Ghost of Yotei
• Persona 5
• Baldur’s Gate 3
• Dead Space
• Persona series
• Road 96
• Outer Wilds
• Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

I’m also open to other recommendations if there’s something that fits my taste better.

Games I’ve loved:

• Red Dead Redemption 2
• Killer Frequency
• Cyberpunk 2077
• Alan Wake 2
• The Last of Us series
• Kingdom Come: Deliverance
• God of War
• Days Gone
• Yakuza 0
• Elden Ring

Right now I’m leaning toward games with strong atmosphere, immersive worlds, great characters, exploration, and stories that actually stick with you after finishing.

What would you pick from this list? And are there any you think I should skip based on the games I’m into?

Good place to do hill sprints on the coast? I know Arthur St in Caloundra is good but it’s a bit of a trek for me.

I’m in Palmview, so if anyone knows any spots around this way, would really appreciate it.
