Are spiritual beliefs common where you are?

Most people where I’m from don’t really have spiritual beliefs and if they do they’re sort of considered woo woo or something but I personally have spiritual beliefs. I was talking to a girl not too long ago and she told me there’s lots of spiritual ideas and beliefs especially associated with the forests in South America. Really curious what your perspective would be

Thanks

Most gripping non-fiction books you’ve read about a persons experience in the criminal underworld

It can be from the perspective of a policeman who was solving crimes or a criminal, murderer, drug trafficker, etc

Please tell me why you recommend it

Thanks

What happened to the scene where Jesse says “you can’t see the basement bitch!”

Have they removed it or something? I literally can’t find it in any of the episodes in season 1. So strange

It’s when his house is being sold and Walt’s cooking in the basement

MMA Math is legit but it’s just one factor you have to consider, it’s not conclusive

Actually yes if X beat Y, and A had or can beat X and he’s about to fight Y that should factor into how you think about the fight but it’s just one factor to consider. Of course there’s also form and styles, age and recent damage, tape study

It’s like you can’t just look at wins people have, because some wins were super close in volatile fights that could’ve gone anyway, or they left openings another fighter would be more able to take advantage of

I’m making this post because people now are straight up saying mma math is irrelevant, it doesn’t mean anything. Not true, it’s one factor it’s good to consider

The wild boys aghori scenes are some of the best ever

Random aghori guy keeps mumbling nonsense and saying SteveOs name, then pours his piss all over himself then passes out, SteveO slaps him hard and he barely notices anything

If the new movie is underwhelming I’m not surprised, these guys have given everything they can

With broken bones and concussions I can totally see that these dudes can’t do much more stunt wise. I guess excepting super gross stuff. Knoxville going to do another bull stunt? Lmao

I felt like the last jackass movie almost had too much ball torture. The best pranks imo aren’t necessarily the pain ones but the shocking next level stuff like poo cocktail supreme and bam falling in snake pit, toro totter

Paddy and BSD are both reckless and hungry for a win. This fight is going to be a crazy one

BSD has relentless forward pressure, very slow punches and takes a lot of damage

Paddy has been taken down before but he scrambles well and has good grappling and submission threat

Paddy sometimes goes for risky submission attempts which might jeopardise him against BSD but BSD exposes his neck a lot when he takes fighters down

We’ve never seen paddy dominated and defeated by a wrestler. Will BSD be the first to do it? Leavitt and Chandler failed but I do think BSD is a level above these guys

However BSD has two bad performances against Poirier and Moicano. A good win against Ruffy and Hooker. Although ruffy maybe had no respect for BSD going into that fight, was very low output. And hooker wasn’t looking two bad until the failed takedown attempt when he should’ve tried to break free from the clinch

I think paddy is the better striker, BSD has to take down paddy and ground and pound a victory

Paddy’s loss to Gaethje has aged very well given what happened to Topuria

Paddy still made it a very competitive fight despite being eye poked and then brutally eye gouged

All the damage on paddy’s face comes from the ground and pound after gaethjes eye gouge in R2. So I have to assume paddy would’ve won if not for the eye gouge. If the eye gouge was penalised the fight would’ve been a draw

In British folklore there’s lots of ghost sightings, what is your paranormal or inexplicable experience?

Additional question: what’s a heterodox belief you hold about the nature of reality

Horror that’s about the fundamental nature of reality

Interested in horror that explores deep philosophical themes about what reality is

Would also really appreciate a sentence about why you recommend the book

Tape study: BSD vs Hooker

Thoughts:

BSD is super slow but he has good leg kicks

His takedowns leave his neck dangerously open, a high skilled grappler like Paddy should be better able to take advantage than Hooker

On top he’s a beast though and probably very hard to get off

People were blaming Hooker for trying to take down BSD but he was stuck in a clinch so I honestly don’t know if he could break free or not. But BSD only ended up on top because of that failed takedown, he couldn’t get hooker in that position before it

Hooker was looking good on the feet but it’s hard to give him r1 because of the takedowns

I think Paddy out strikes BSD, I trust his chin more. I also think his grappling makes him way more dangerous to hold down. So this is going to be a much harder fight for BSD than the hooker and ruffy one.

Paddy seems to have easier paths to victory whereas I think BSD has to wrestle paddy and hold him down.

Paddy’s been taken down before (Chandler and Jordan Leavitt) but he won both of those fights

Some thoughts on Abus vs Michal

Michal has been submitted a few times R1, and Abus has submitted someone before R1

Michal could possibly catch Abus with something in a R1 flurry

I’ve seen abus gas hard in the Strickland fight but apparently Michal has bad cardio too. Abus looked good against Strickland before he gassed

Abus has faced way better competition id say

Pick here is Abus

Aspinall will probably be able to take Gane down and do what he wants. He can replicate what Jones did. Betting him if they fight in September

I get that Jon jones is good but people still overrate him. That Gane fight was so terrible, Gane had trash takedown defence, clearly showed any competent wrestler can take him down. Presumably that’s why he eye poked Tom to deter the takedowns.

If they fight in September aspinal will be my pick and we’ll probs be blessed with better odds than the first time because Gane knocked out Pereira, whom he basically knocked out with a clean jab probs any heavyweight could land
