Favorite OMAM lyrics?

Thought about this on my drive home from work. Beneath The Skin has my favorite OMAM lyrics by far (Although My Head Is An Animal is my favorite album of theirs overall) The constant use of the body as metaphors for internal strife and complex feelings is incredible lyricism. I really love how in songs like Wolves Without Teeth they dive into the emotional and physical connection between two lovers. Going off of that, my favorite lyrics are “I breathe what is yours, you breathe what is mine.”

What’re your favorite OMAM lyrics and why?

Direction Help: Somatic (breathing) OCD

Hi all, this will be a bit of a long post but any advice is appreciated.

I have struggled with sensorimotor somatic breathing OCD for 5.5 years. I have worked hard to better myself and work through it. While things have gotten better overtime, it still affects me drastically. Some of the symptoms are that I feel like I cannot breath out and my brain (at this point) is constantly focused on my breathing therreofore making me extremely stressed and tired. My vision goes blurry and my thoughts go scattered. I can barely sit and just be in the moment it’s so hyperfocused and uncomfortable. My body is constantly tensed up and my face tenses up so it’s extremely hard to smile making me sometimes come off as stoic and distant which is NOT who I am at all. I have done medication (albeit, not specifically OCD tailored medication), therapy, hypnotherapy and even psychedelic assisted therapy at Yale (incredibly powerful experience btw, but definitely know what you’re doing if you ever go this route with OCD).

Now, the last 6 months, I have been trying to get into an fMRI to map my ocd brain to see exactly what is going on and then potentially get medication or do targeted TMS for the specific regions of my brain that showed up over or underactive in my fMRI. I had plans and an appointment to get an fMRI for OCD done at Stanford university, but was later told that the fMRI would be a generic fMRI and they couldn’t specifically tailor it to OCD.

The idea of getting a targeted fMRI for ocd and then knowing explicitly where to target my brain for TMS sounds hands down the best option if it’s open, but I don’t know where to turn now. It was rough having this planned for 6 months and then to find out Stanford couldn’t actually do the correct protocol.

I’m considering doing the SAINT protocol for OCD at a local clinic, however I’m just not sure if it will hit the exact spots of my brain that are implicit in my somatic OCD, so I’m kind of at a loss on which direction to pursue right now.

With all that being said, I wanted to ask you all if A) you have experience with somatic breathing OCD and what helped and B) if you know of any places that would offer this fMRI ocd brain scan.

Loader Rollback Detected Windows 10 BSOD

Hello, my power cut out in the middle of an update and now I’m stuck on this BSOD. Tried the turning off and on 3 times for safe mode and no luck. I’ve tried using the keys to bring up a separate menu. Checked the website listed on the screen and it didn’t give me any help about my specific stop code of Loader Rollback detected. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
