How difficult/time consuming is lunatic?

I'm almost finished with the game. Completing final chapter.

I'm thinking about doing 100% achievements, and the only one I'll be missing is the "Complete game on lunatic".

Since I already went through everything in the game, I'm thinking, I don't want to repeat all of it.

My question is - how hard is it to breeze through the game on lunatic? Just doing the main objectives, not collecting everything.

Will I be under leveled?

Should I aim for a specific build? Heat build?

I heard Lem Cannon is good for that run. But if I don't do side stuff, won't I have enough lem to use it?

I have experience from souls like games so I'm not scared of the difficulty.

Question about dying in game

I have just started the game. I died in the first red room and kinda was surprised I got teleported back to the Shelter. But it's alright.

My question is, how often did you guys die in the later stages of the game? Is it common? Annoying?

Forced to wait for Razer Naga V3 Pro

Just a bit of ranting.

I'm in Europe and in my country there's not a single V2 Pro avaliable in the stores. And my previous Naga has broken down and is out of warranty.

At the moment, I literally don't have any (normal) option to buy a Naga Pro.

Anyone in a similar situation?

I've been a Naga user since the very first model. I literally have a drawer full of old broken Nagas. It feels like an addiction. I can't normally play or use the PC without the additional buttons. I tried diffrent MMO mice and returned them immediately...

Found an easy solution to the missing moth bug

For me it was the moth in the Slytherin dungeon. It was completely missing. I tried the "changing graphics settings and reloading" method but it didn't work.

I've watched this tutorial and it gave me the idea that the whole problem is with the frame rate.

What worked for me (on PC):

  1. I was standing in the Grand Starcase

  2. Changed my GPU to integrated graphics in the settings

  3. Reloaded the game

  4. the game was a slide show now, had 7-15 FPS

  5. Walked slowly, withouth casting lumos on the moth mirror, to the place where the month should be and IT WAS JUST THERE.

TLDR: Switch to the integrated graphics, survive the low FPS and the moth will be there.

Owners of this or similar boards. Question about SSD heatsink.

It's Asus TUF B850-PLUS mobo.

My question is regarding the lower heatsink for SSDs. I've put my spare gen 3 SSD in there, without the heatsink, and it's running kinda hot (55°C idle).

I want to put the heatsink on it, but it's kinda big.

Is it easy to remove after? Won't it stick to the SSD? I'm afraid I will damage the SSD if I have to remove the heatsink later on.

Second best image quality after OLED?

I've recently finished building my new system with a 5070ti and I'm considering also buying a new monitor.

At the moment I'm using Lenovo Legion 32" R32qc-30.

It's a 2k VA monitor and I must admit it's not that bad.

But since I got a new GPU and I play mostly AAA games I'm considering getting something better.

The problem is that I will also use this monitor for work. Long hours, many static imagines. Which means, from what I understand, OLED is out of the question.

Will any other technology offer me much better image quality than I have now? IPS? Some other LED technology that doesn’t suffer from burn in (mini-LED)?

I would stay with a QHD or a WQHD. No need for UHD.

Is this granite?

Surprisingly, I found it on a beach near Garður, Iceland, where it naturally shouldn't be.

Only rocks of volcanic origin are normally found here.

Someone suggested that it could be a piece of granite transported here by a glacier.

Why graphics in some newer games are unpleasant to look at?

I've recently upgraded my system from a i7 9700k/RTX2070 to a 9800x3d/5070ti. I started playing games like the new Indiana Jones or Hogwarts Legacy.

Even tho I have all the details on ultra... I don't especially enjoy what I'm looking at in these games. Don't get me wrong, the environment and scenery are amazing. But something doesn't sit right especially with the character models.

Why did I mention my specs? Because more than a year ago I played Black Myth Wukong on my old system and all the graphics were amazing, even on a weak GPU. They felt... coherent.

Not all games do that. I just finished Doom The Dark Ages and it was fine.

be quiet! has disappointed me.

At the end of november last year I built a system with with a 9800x3d and a 5070ti. It works very nice.

Today I read an article about some PSU and I checked in on the PSU tier list.

I glanced over my current PSU which is be quiet! PURE POWER 13 M and I noticed it was downgraded to tier B+ (from A) because "As of 2026, some units have been shipping with bulk caps rated for only 85C instead of the 105C caps used in the Cybenetics sample."

My understanding is that be quiet! decided to quietly downgrade the quality of the product after all the testing was done. That sucks.

Now I wonder if I got the pre or after downgrade version. I bought it at the end of november in EU.

I think I still should be fine even if I have the B+ version...

What if COVID19 was called SARS2 instead?

As many of you know, one of the first names of the virus that caused the pandemic was "SARS-CoV-2". Then it was also called diffrent names and the public eventually adopted the all known "COVID19" name.

What if scientists started straight away naming it SARS2 (or alternatively SARS19), and the name would stick?

Since many people remember the original SARS virus, would it increase people's perception of it? Would it improve vaccination rates?
